Part 0 - "Eternal Return" is a philosophical conundrum created by Friedrich Nietzsche. Basically stating, if you had to live the exact same life over and over again for eternity without ever being able to change your mistakes, would you be happy?

Part 1 "Ecumene" is defined as land permanently inhabited by humans. The word "home" comes to mind.

Part 2 "Eschaton" is a synonym for apocalypse or "end of the world"

     - Ch 1 "The Fists of God": line from "Crushed" by Parkway Drive
     - Chapter 3 "Com Saudade" is Portuguese, literally meaning "with longing". In English, Saudade is a state of nostalgic longing, possibly for a part of a long distant life. The phrase can also be translated to "I miss you."
  

Part 4 "Epithelium" is the name for a thin skin like cellular membrane

        - Ch 3 "i'm here" from the SONIC Frontiers Soundtrack 
        - Ch 4 "God's in a Coma": line from "Critical Darling" by Slipknot

Part 5 "Entente" is a treaty between allied nations

       - ch 1 おやすみなさい (Oyasuminasai) Is Japanese, literally "Please go to sleep". It's also a tongue-in-cheek reference to OMORI
       - Chapter 2 "Do Not Look Down" by Meshuggah
       - Ch 3 "Stone Man Syndrome" is a medical condition whereby a person's muscles slowly develop into bone. It is used as a metaphor for Tari's drive, literally working herself until she can't move

Part 6 "Enfant",  Short for "L'Enfant Sauvage" which means 'wild child' in French. It is also the name of a song by the band Gojira
           - Chapter 4 "Skeleton Key" by Epica

Intermission: "Endysis" is the process of developing a new coat of feathers
           - Chapter 3 "Broken Mirrors" by Rise Against
           - Chapter 4 
                    > "Sin Eaters" was a Welsh and Southern American Tradition in which people would literally eat the sins of the deceased
                   > "Feathers in Maat" is a reference to an ancient Egyptian belief that a persons soul would be weighed after death

Part 7 "Encandillar" Spanish for "dazzled" or "Blinded"
         - Chapter 1 "The Eagle has landed" by Avatar
         - Chapter 3 "The Black Shuck" is an old English Folk Tale about a fearsome black dog

Part 8 "Erysichthon" is the Greek Myth of a greedy king who was cursed to literally eat himself

        - Ch 2 "From a Lacerated Sky": lyric from "Raining Blood" by Slayer
        - Ch 4 "LET THE WORLD SING IN DESPAIR": lyric from "Instill" by Humanity's Last Breath

Part 9 "Eigengrau" is the color a person see when they close their eyes

       - Ch 4 "Akeldama" is the name of the field bought with the money Judas Iscariot received for betraying Jesus
