⚠️ WARNING ⚠️PAECYN
I take a deep, quiet breath before zipping my backpack. At this point I'm blaming myself for not just getting ready at my house while I was there earlier.
The room has an eerie silence casted around it while Terrence's eyes follow my every step...
They've been following my hands, my movement and any sound made by such.
"Why yah do this? You say yuh want a break and me give you that... and now you just a decide fi cut it?" he finally speaks.
His figure is leaned against the bathroom doorway– his arms folded with one leg crossed at the ankles.
"Me just nuh feel like me ready fi a relationship," I breathe before stooping to grab my charger that had fallen to the carpet, "I've stretched it for as long as I could..."
"Stretched it?" he repeats my words in a tone that seeks confirmation.
Yeah...
*Like him deaf*
I nod... while wrapping the charger neatly.
I don't know... but I've been taking my time to pack because the feeling I have at the pit of my stomach nuh nice. Though he hasn't raised his voice, or tried to stop me from gathering my things, the look that has settled in his eyes tell me to be careful.
*Weh mi get myself ina?*
"Yah go back to him?" he decides to speak when he notices I haven't.
"Go back to who?" I decide to play dumb.
"Duh tek mi fi idiot Gray..." his voice falls low... very low and tamed.
I find his stare, "Terrence this is about me. You want way too much, way too early and you're very cli–"
*Clingy*
No he hates that adjective.
*Well yuh affi done the word, see him a stare pon yuh deh*
"... iiimatic," I finish my word.
He raises his brow before pushing his body from the slightly diagonal lean, to standing upright and tall.
"Climatic?" he chuckles as he takes short strides towards me.
I pick up the bag and begin to step back while nodding.
"Yeah... like everything is a problem for you... sometimes," this nah go good at all.
"Give an example," he claps back quickly.
Uhhh...
*Girl just mek we gah we yard, mmcht*
"You coming to find me just 'cause me post supm weh yuh or you mada nuh like," I try to save the lie.
"Humph," he scoffs. "Paecyn just remember say me anuh fool yerr... put the bag down," his tone still soft, still calm, still tamed.
