chapter 6~

"where?" Scott asked

"i don't know keep your eye open." he looked to Lexi "come with me."

"okay?" Lexi said and walked with him.

Scott called out to Logan but he just walked away.

"damn it." Scott said

"so what's the deal?" Logan asked Lexi

"what deal?" she said confused

"you were staring at me in the meeting hall why?" he asked

"i was trying to read you." she said

"your a telepath?" Logan asked

"no. read your emotions, but your very good at not really showing them facially anyways that's why." Lexi answered simply

"so you don't think i'm attractive?" Logan said in a teasing tone

Lexi's face went hot and red.

"ummm i mean you have...nice features." she said flustered

"like what?" he said with a smirk

her face just got redder.

suddenly he sniffed something.

"i know there's someone here." he said

"should we go tell the group?"

Logan suddenly ran up to a double of himself it was actually Mystique in disguise, Logan and Mystique rolled around punching each other. they rolled into a part of the gift shop.

the team watched the scuffle go on.

Logan unsheathed his claws but so did Mystique she could also copy powers.

Scott approached them and both of the Logans said wait, but Mystiques Logan cut a light fixture down and that shut the door.

as the fight went on Scott decided he was going to use his lasers to open the door.

"alright back up, back up." he told them

while he was getting ready to open the door Toad got there first.

he kicked Scott into a display case, and kicked Storm and Jean out of the way, leaving him with Lexi.

she kicked him in the gut and he whipped her with his tongue.

she was on her knees but not down.

he used his tongue to close Scott in the display.

Lexi looked around there wasn't enough noise for her to use her power, she needed a loud noise so she can absorb the sound waves and convert them into energy blasts that she uses back at the attacker the morse noise she gets the more powerful the energy blasts are, but there wasn't anything.

(okay so the ear pieces help her. she's constantly absorbing sound and letting out that energy it's not really a power that can be turned off so the ear pieces help keep external sound out, so ifs he was in a city she wouldn't be able to hear people talking only the person i front of her.)

Lexi looked to Jean who was down and then back at Storm, she was getting up but Toad tossed her up to a different level of the gift shop, separating them. now it was Jean and Lexi.

Toad 'danced' his way to the girls (idk how else to describe it 😭) before lunging at them.

Lexi hit the deck but Jean stopped him mid air with her telekinesis, but he spit some gross icky stuff in her face, and he fell to the ground.
