sun and moon (Wolverine x OC story) BOOK 1

chapter 8~

"Storm can you get me up there?" Scott asked urgently

"i can't control it like that. you could fly right over the torch." Storm replied

"Lexi is our best option right now but she needs help." Scott said

"then let me go back up there and help her." Logan said

"if i don't make it, then at least you can still blast the damn thing." Logan said

"alright do it." Scott said not having many options left.

Lexi tried to get up to where Rouge was but it would be to obvious she was there, her power was still going and Jean couldn't stop her since she busy helping, it was up to Logan now.

"Jean, use your power try to steady him, try not to get him in the direction of Lexi's blasts.

"hang on to something." Storm said as her eyes went white and the wind blew. the wind was so strong Logan was having trouble standing.

Jean used her power and launched Logan up in the air towards the torch in hopes to reach Rouge.

Lexi saw him and knew he was gonna help but she'd say on the side if he needed help.

Logan conveniently landed on top of the machine.

a white dome started to form over the statue and some of the city, Logan and the team watched what was about to happen.

Logan landed where Rouge was in the white bubble that surrounded her.

he unsheathed his claws to get ready and cut the handcuffs but Magneto stopped him.

Scott, suddenly touched his eye mechanism getting ready to blast Magento.

"Scott, wait." Jean urged

Lexi saw everything that was happening sos he tried to help. she closed her eyes and tried to focus on a noise and then her blasts started up again. 

Magneto and Logan felt her blasts again, in hopes that Magneto would be knocked down.

"what is she doing?" Scott said

"she's trying to help by knocking him down." Jean replied

Magneto began to loose his footing and slip but he still had a grip on Logan. the blasts weren't working as Lexi had hoped.

Logan's claws started to bend and Rouges hair began to turn white. people on land could see the bright bubble starting to form around them, and feel the blasts again.

nothing seemed to be working so Scott decided to take charge.

the people could see the white light coming towards them. so they decided to flee.

"jean, i have to!" Scott yelled.

"just wait!" Jean said

Rouge screamed again and Logan kept struggling under the force of Magneto. but Lexi aimed her blast at Magento and something interesting happened. she deflected his power. she was keeping it bay, she had no idea how but she was somehow and Logan wasn't under his control anymore. so she kept blasting Magneto.

Scott didn't know what was happening all he knew was that he had to take a shot.

"i have a shot." he said

"im taking it." he said

he didn't know Lexi was keeping Magneto at bay. he didn't know her powers deflected his, so he blasted Magneto, and since Lexi was deflecting his power she fell too, not to far but she was okay.
