I could barely recognize the woman standing behind my back

"It's me Kore. Do you remember me?"

It took me awhile to focus and realize where I was

I was standing in the middle of a hallway but all the weird whispering had stopped

"Yes. Sure. You're Ms Lisa. Changbin's mom"

"Step mother"

She gave me a big smile, lowering her hand from my shoulder

Her touch gave me shivers. It was an uncharacteristically commanding gesture for such a fragile woman

"Look you're not supposed to be here. Let's go upstairs "

"But what about--"

"you came with Chan. I think you'd want to speak to Ms Kim"

How does she know about that?

She came closer and hugged my shoulders, and gave me a slight push towards the exit

I turned around staring at the suspicious door

"But....the whisper..."

"What whisper?" Her fingers dug harder into my shoulders
"It's a technical floor. You couldn't possibly hear whispers. Unless through the vents and I doubt that, not even the staff go down there"

I couldn't have imagined it!

She clearly wants me to go away and drop the subject

"Oh no. I definitely did not imagine it"

I took a step back, freeing myself from her grasp

" I heard whispering and I wanna know who it is. What's behind that door?!"

"There's nothing behind that door!. It's just another storage room"

"Then open it and show me that it's empty"

"Felix you had too much to drink and you're acting inappropriately. Please calm down"

"But I heard it! Why don't you believe me?"

"I do. But it's not the right time to discuss that" Her eyes looking dead serious. Scared me for a second

"Let's go. I think Hades and Chan wouldn't mind you joining their conversation"

But still!....how did she know I came with Chan?!

Hyunjin wouldn't have told her?...or did he?

"That would be nice. I haven't seen Miss Kim in awhile"

Kore nudged me and we made our way to Hades' office

After a few flights of stairs, she opened a massive door before us, letting me go forward

We entered the office but no one noticed us

Right in the middle of the room, there was Chan and Ms Kim Jennie also known as Hades. People call her that because she named her club 'underworld', so Hades was like a nickname well that's what I was told

She was standing opposite Chan

They clearly weren't in the best of moods

"Why didn't you stop us?! Why did you leave us behind?!" Chan said

"I was protecting you!" Ms Kim fired back

"If you were , none of that would have happened!" Chan said again
