Siwoo's POV

Working as Yoongi's second secretary has its perks, but I can’t deny the thrill that comes with pushing him to his limits. I’d been dropping hints for days, reminding him about the rush of the underground racing circuit, the adrenaline that made our nights electrifying. Today, I’d decided to be a little more direct.

“Hyung,” I leaned over his mahogany desk, the soft sound of papers shuffling breaking the office’s silence. “It’s been too long since you last raced. Aren’t you itching for it, even just a little?”

Yoongi barely glanced up, his dark eyes focused on the report he was reading. But I knew better the slight twitch in his jaw, the way his pen stilled for a fraction of a second told me I’d hit a nerve. He didn’t respond, so I pushed further.

“Ever since you married Hoseok, you’ve been different. No more races, no more late nights out… not even a fling. Are you going soft?” I said it half-jokingly, but Yoongi’s eyes shot up, cold and sharp, making my pulse skip a beat.

“Watch your words, Siwoo,” he said in that quiet tone of his that made my skin prickle. “I don’t need your opinion on my life.”

I hesitated, but I couldn’t help myself. “But why do you need his permission? You’re Min Yoongi, Suga, the king of the underground. You have every right”

His eyes darkened, and a vein throbbed in his temple, a silent warning that I had crossed the line. The room felt colder, and my heart thudded in my chest. Without another word, I straightened and stepped back, knowing it was time to leave. I grabbed the files I’d come for and practically ran out of the office, my palms sweating as I shut the door behind me.

Third Person POV

The office grew quiet after Siwoo’s departure, leaving Yoongi alone with his thoughts. The tension that had coiled in his chest slowly unwound as he released a long sigh. He leaned back in his chair, eyes drifting to the framed picture of Hoseok on his desk. It was a candid shot from their honeymoon, where Hoseok had laughed at something Yoongi said, his eyes crinkling with joy. It was rare to see him so relaxed, so unguarded.
