This was it.

The light from her dreams.

It was the Bridge. It had to be what it was.

She felt like she was falling and hurdling at the speed of light all at the same time.

Her hands flew around trying to grab for anything.

Micah looked around. Was someone else here?

She saw a dark figure ahead of her.

Loki?

But the figure kept flying ahead of her and she had no choice to follow.

She went where the light led.

And the light got brighter.

Brighter and brighter until she had to cover her eyes and she instinctively braced for impact.

Suddenly all was dark and she hid something hard before skidding across it.

Micah opened her eyes immediately and looked around. It was a dark room, glowing with gold, and panicked shejumped to her feet.

She turned around to see two men staring at her.

One had skin as dark as the night and the other was tanned with jet-black hair.

They both looked at her in fusion.

The smaller of the men, but still he was a giant, drew his sword, and the man with dark skin but unnaturally golden eyes raised his hand for the other man to lower his weapon.

"I have seen you before," the taller man spoke. His voice was deep and commanding.

"Where did you come from? How did you follow me?"

Micah instinctively raised her hands, "I-I didn't follow you. Or at least on purpose. I....I don't even know where I am!"

"You are in Asgard. And I see it now. She was already there," the golden-eyed man looked past her as if she wasn'tthere. "She was waiting on you, Hogun."

"Oh my gosh! No, no! That's not it! I was just studying and trying to collect data."

"She's a Midgardian spy!" he called Hogun drew his sword again. "She must go before the All-Father! She could be dangerous."

Before Micah knew what was happening the man was restraining her hands behind her back. She struggled but pain radiated up her arms when she fought against him.

"Please, there's been some mistake! I am not a spy. I am not even a threat! I am a scientist!"

Micah was led to some kind of floating shuttle of sorts.

There were guards waiting for her the man who restrained her told the guards what happened at the Micah would need to be taken to the All-Father as soon as possible.

But in that moment Micah couldn't even be scared. She's just taken an Einstein-Rosen Bridge, essentially a wormhole, to Asgard.

Asgard. Where Thor and Loki had come from.

Asgard from the Norse Mythology books Erik had told her about.

And now, even as a prisoner, she was being led down the grand halls of the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf.

"Holy crap," she muttered under her breath.

Eyes started to catch on her. She wore a Paramore hoodie and worn-out jeans she bought from the men's section of the Goodwill down the block from Stark Towers. She stuck out like a sore thumb. Her clunky Doc Martens kept squeaking on the polished floors and she wanted to melt into a puddle.
