My Face and His

Chapter 4

I turned quickly when I heard a yell, one that sounded a lot like Takumi's voice. I quickly turned from where I had been looking at the building and ran towards where I had left Takumi.

Shit, is he hurt?? Was that him? Why did I leave him alone?? It's dangerous here!! Taku, where the fuck are -

I got back to where I left Takumi and passed some of the reporters from earlier. They were recording something else now, but I ran past them, looking for Takumi. My eyes landed on Takumi. Some weird, fat police officer was holding Takumi by the arm, and I could see Takumi trying to pull away.

I felt my blood boil.

How dare he touch Taku... How dare he hurt him like this...

I was about to run forward when someone touched my shoulder, making me jump and spin around to glare at whoever touched me. I was taken aback when I saw another much younger police officer than the one currently with Takumi.

The man looked around 20, with longish blond hair that fell out of his messy ponytail. He had a sharp jawline clean of stubble, and he looked strong, but in a lean, graceful way. The way his hand rested casually on the holster of the gun told me that this guy was dangerous. Most calm, easy-going, casual people are.

"Don't go. I'll take care of this. You know the kid?"

I scowled when the strange officer stopped me from protecting Takumi. It annoyed me even more because of how beautiful and annoyingly attractive he was. I clenched my fists, but one look at his well-placed hand on his belt made me restrain myself.

"Yes."

I growled. The officer didn't seem to notice my annoyance, chuckling as he started towards Takumi and the fat officer. Suddenly, the fat policeman yelled out in pain as Takumi kicked him in the balls. I let out a surprised gasp before it quickly turned into a snort of laughter as I saw Takumi raise his hands in a defencive stance, although the size difference between the fat officer and him was laughable.

He's too fucking cute.

The handsome officer quickly jumped in between Takumi and the fat officer, grabbing Takumi's shoulders and leaning down to talk to him. That made my amusement turn to anger fast.

Who does this guy think he is? Yeah, he's being gentler than that fat dude, but he's way too close. AND he stopped me from going to Taku myself!

I was so close to running out there and grabbing Takumi when the handsome officer patted Takumi's shoulder and pointed at me. I quickly changed my expression and was about to move towards Takumi when the handsome officer nudged Takumi towards me and turned to help the fat officer.

Takumi walked straight over to me, and before he could say anything, I met him halfway and cupped his face in my hands, leaning down a little.

"Are you mental?? Are you hurt?? Did either of them hurt you?? Why was that guy touching you?? Why the hell would you kick a police officer?? Why-"

Takumi slapped a hand over my mouth, effectively shutting me up. He smirked at my rant and leaned in a little.

"Aw, were you worried about me~?"

He teased and I felt heat rise in my face. I nodded, unable to speak as Takumi let out a giggle, his hazel eyes sparkling. Somehow, his smile melted my anger away.

I should really be mad at him and that perverted officer, but...

He's so damned pretty when he's smiling.

Fucking gorgeous...

When Takumi didn't move his hand from my mouth, I smirked and opened my mouth, letting my tongue dart out and lick the palm of his hand.

"What the-?!"

He yelped and jumped back as I tried to hold in my laughter and failed miserably. I giggled as Takumi stared at me in horror, rubbing his hand on the side of his pant's and blushing.

"Elijah!!"

I laughed as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me, leaning down a little and wrapping an arm around his waist.

"Aw, don't do that~! You're gonna hurt my feelings~!"

Takumi scoffed and pushed me away, his face turning redder by the second.

"To hell with your feelings!"

He said as he started walking down the footpath again. I looked over at where the two officer's were, and felt a wave of satisfation as the fat officer who was touching Takumi before was being scolded by the handsome officer. I quickly raced after Takumi.

This is bad.

At some point, he'll fall for a girl.

And I won't be able to do anything about it.

He would never pick me.

...

This is extremely bad.
