We are the foster kids,
Thrown into a system so deep,
Left feeling alone and unwanted,
But our power, we will keep.
We’ve been haunted by life,
But within us, there’s a fire,
We’ll rise above and show the world,
Our potential and our desire.
Our journey may be tough and long,
But we stand together, hand in hand,
We’ll wear the crown and prove them wrong,
Our love and care will make us grand.
Don’t let the doubters and haters bring us down,
We are strong and we’ll make it through,
For foster kids, we’ll build a new home,
And rise above, a journey to pursue.
So let’s embrace the love and light,
From a fellow foster kid, standing tall,
We’ll make something rare, show our might,
For in us lies the power to conquer all.
