The weeks flew by quickly with exams, practicals, projects, and assignments all coming to an end. The students finally relaxed, but they were still anxious about their results.
Jeia was confident about how her exams went, but she couldn't shake the nervousness. She was determined to top the class, though Aarav was a formidable competitor. Still, she reminded herself that even "impossible" holds "I'm possible," and she had given it her all to emerge as the top student.
Meanwhile, Aarav wasn’t too concerned about topping the class. Despite mostly being at the top, it was something that came naturally to him, without any pressure or sense of obligation. He never had to push himself too hard—academics just seemed to come effortlessly for him, and he never let it weigh him. For him, striking a balance between both academics and enjoying life came easily, and he didn’t stress over his studies like jeia or others did. While his natural intelligence kept him at the top, he was more interested in living in the moment and having fun.
Over the past month, Jeia's relationship with Aarav had transformed. No longer arch enemies, they had found a way to coexist without the previous friction. Their playful banter continued, but it was now marked by a newfound friendship rather than rivalry. Despite their improved friendship, their academic competition remained fierce
Vihaan and the others had adjusted to Jeia's presence in the house. With her staying until she completed her degree and compulsory internship, they had settled into a comfortable routine with her.
The institute announced that the results would be out in 4 to 6 weeks, giving everyone a chance to unwind. Jeia considered returning home, but she decided to visit after the results were declared.
Aarav on the other hand, had grown fond of Jeia, who was once his enemy and whom he used to find annoying and irritating. His best friend Sameer often caught him stealing glances at Jeia. Aarav, who had despised her, now found her endearing and charming. He was amazed that he was captivated by someone he had disliked for so long. He felt it was time to get to know her better, finding himself unable to resist her smile and even her constant chatter.
Jeia, however, remained completely oblivious of Aarav’s growing feelings. While Aarav was intrigued and captivated by her, there was someone else who watched him with a loving gaze.
AT DINING TABLE
"Dekho na, dadi, bhaiyya ko kaho na humare saath chale," Aarav whined to his grandmother.
("Look, grandma, please tell brother to come with us.")"Haan dadi, sirf 2 din ki hi toh baat hai," Parineeti chimed in.
("Yes, grandma, it’s only for 2 days.")"Kahaan jaane ki baat ho rahi hai?" Jeia asked, taking her seat.
("Where are we talking about going?")Vihaan gave Jeia a brief glance before shifting his focus back to Aarav.
"I’m not going anywhere," he said firmly.
"Hey Jeia, we're planning a two-day trip to our beach villa to unwind from all the stress," Aarav explained,
turning back to his brother. "Oh no, please, brother, you are coming with us, and that's final," Aarav insisted."Beach villa, seriously?" Jeia asked, intrigued.
"Yes, beach villa. It’s quite amazing, and you’re coming too. End of the discussion," Aarav replied confidently.
"Okay, that's exciting! But who all are going?" Jeia asked, confused.
"Just us—me, you, Pari Di, bhaiyya, Shasha, Sameer, and you can bring your friend too. What was her name again? Oh yes, Saniya."
