Rose Bertham POV

I storm into my apartment, slamming the door behind me. How did Pia find out? My mind is racing. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

My life is in shambles now ,everything is a mess.Yesterday runaway was a mess after Pia confronted me.l was so confused.l walked that runaway, something that l love but honestly my heart wasn't in it.Voices kept echoing in my head, whispering that this might be my last show. They refused to quiet down.

"You know it's true. Either you come clean to him yourself, or I expose everything. I have no problem making sure the public and your modeling agency knows about this."

I was so disconnected when l stepped onto the catwalk it was like l was going through the motion on autopilot. Every step felt heavy ,every smile forced.

I made it through the show though ,but it was blur.l don't remember the music ,the lights ,or the applause.Did anyone notice the whirlwind of turmoil behind my eyes?

I pace back and forth, my heels clicking on the marble floor. How dare Pia threaten me like that? Expose my secret to the media? Ruin my career?She doesn’t understand how hard I’ve worked to build this life! But she has the damning proof that could shatter everything.

I spot a vase on the coffee table and,
in a fit of rage, I hurl it across the room. It shatters against the wall, shards of glass scattering everywhere.

"Rose, stop!" Rosaline, my sister, rushes into the room, her eyes wide with concern. "What's wrong?"

I spin around, my anger boiling over. "Pia knows! She knows about the fake pregnancy!"

Rosaline's face pales. "I warned you, Rose. I told you this would happen."

I glare at her, my frustration mounting. "You're supposed to support me, not lecture me!"

Rosaline takes a deep breath rubbing her belly. "You could've done something else not fabricating a fake pregnancy."

I feel a pang of regret, but my anger still simmers. "You don't understand. Kylian was going to leave me and forget about me...l had to do something."

I thought l had everything under control.Kylian believed me and was now planning to seduce him.The day I lied to him about the doctor's appointment, my plan was to lure him, but he refused to come over my apartment. He said wanted to take Pia to dinner instead. My mission failed.

Rosaline shakes her head. "You lied to him, Rose. You manipulate him. That's not love; that's desperation."

I know she's right, but I refuse to admit it.I cant escape the thought of how Pia find out?Rosaline is only person who knew about this.There is no other way Pia would find out... not to mention how she had those confidential documents that belongs to Rosaline.Where the hell did she get them?

This only means one thing.

"Are you the one who told Pia Luther the truth?" I yell.

"What?"

"Rosaline she had your prenatal documents. Why would you betray me like that?Your own sister.You know how this is going to affect my reputation..."l raise my voice.

"Are you losing your mind Rose?l don't even know Pia.."She says incredulously, laughing as if the situation is amusing.

"Just leave me alone, Rosaline."

Rosaline sighs and exits the room, leaving me alone.

As the hours tick by, my anxiety grows. What if Pia exposes me to the media?What will be Kylian's reaction when l confess?
