"..Take it easy." Bellamy warned Murphy, who was trying to sit up, his hands were firmly on her shoulders to keep her from sitting up to prevent herself from injuring further.

Murphy swatted his hands away and sat up, wincing a little. Her eyes narrowed at Titus. Bellamy let out a small sigh, but he sat next to Murphy, close enough but also giving her some space. He crossed his arms over his chest, narrowing his eyes into a glare towards Titus.

"Murphy, tell us what happened." Lexa spoke, standing in front of the bed besides Clarke, who still couldn't believe that Murphy was actually alive. She was relieved, of course, but she has a lot of questions.

"I went for a walk then this guy -" she gestured towards Titus, "pulled a gun on me. Saying some shit about me trying to deceive you and ruin everything. Then he shot me."

"Heda, it is impossible for her to be a nightblood -" Titus started to explain himself, but Lexa held up a hand to silence him. She gestured for Murphy to continue.

"He was going to blame it on the ice nation. On Prince Roan. I don't remember much after that." Murphy finished explaining.

"That settles it." Bellamy stood up, "he deserves to die." He took a step towards Titus, his hand on his gun, but Lexa stopped.

"No -"

"No?" Bellamy interrupted with a scoff, glaring at Lexa. "He almost killed Murphy! He deserves to die!"

"You should learn to stop interrupting me." Lexa told him. "You won't kill him. He will be punished for his actions."

Bellamy clenched his jaw in anger, pulling out his gun from his holster. A hand grabbed his, and he looked down, seeing a pale hand that belonged to Murphy.

She pried the gun away from his hand, "It's okay, Bell. We're on Lexa's territory. You know she could kill you if she wants, right? I am in no condition to protect you like always."

Bellamy turned to face her, "Protect me? I'm sure I can hold my own against Lexa."

A small laugh escaped Murphy only for a second before she winced. "Bell, don't make me laugh, I can't. It hurts."

Bellamy fondly rolled his eyes, huffing as he sat back down next to Murphy. "You're funny." He sarcastically said.

Murphy gave him a small tired grin, "Oh, I'm hilarious." She looked at Lexa, giving her a small nod.

Lexa gave a slight nod back before she turned to face Titus with a stern expression on her face. "We have so much to talk about. Prince Roan, follow us. Now."

Lexa walked out of the room. Titus was quick to follow. Roan glanced at Murphy, who gave him a slight finger wave, and he chuckled lightly under his breath before walking out of the room.

"Okay." Clarke spoke up, letting out a small deep breath. "I have a lot of questions that I need you to answer  without your level of sarcasm."

"Ask away, princess." Murphy replied, leaning most of her weight against Bellamy. She didn't have much strength to keep herself up.

"Okay." Clarke sat by the end of the bed, her eyes boring into Murphy's. "Your blood. You're a nightblood, aren't you?"

Bellamy furrowed his eyes in confusion, "What the hell is a nightblood? And it is life threatening?"

"I don't think it is." Murphy replied, "Finn thinks the Ark had something to do with it."

"Finn knows?" Bellamy scoffed, "of course he does." Murphy slightly whacked him in the stomach.

"He found out when we found the bunker. I was injured by the sea monster, we kinda freaked out by the sight of black blood coming out of me, but what he said, it kinda made sense." Murphy told them, a small frown on her face.

"What did he say?" Clarke asked, sending Bellamy a look. He looked away from her and towards Murphy.

"When I was a kid, I was always sick. It got worse when I was thrown into the skybox. I spent most of my time in the medical wing than the skybox." Murphy explained, "it was just sudden illnesses, and I don't remember much of what happened in the medical wing when I was in there,"

"Finn said, the Ark wouldn't waste resources on a sick kid who's always sick. They would've floated me, but they didn't. I won't ask Jaha for answers. The guy is full on crazy. I was thinking of asking Abby if Finn hasn't." Murphy said,

"Radiation testing." Clarke said, with a deep sighed. Bellamy wrapped an arm around Murphy, careful with her wound, anger in his eyes. He clenched his other hand tightly.

"I found some files. Since Murphy was an orphan, they decided to test cures for radiation on her. It explains why she was always sick. It was radiation." Clarke explained,

"One of those cures must've turned your blood black. It must be the same thing that's running through Lexa." Clarke told Murphy, who uncurled Bellamy's fist, interlocking her hand with his, calming his anger a bit.

"She's tired, Clarke." Bellamy spoke, and Clarke nodded, standing up, giving them a small smile.

"Get some rest, Murph. I'll come by and check on you later." With that, Clarke walked out of the room.

"I'm gonna kill everyone involved in what they did to you." Bellamy promised, Murphy slightly hummed, her eyes slowly closing.

"No. You won't." She rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes fully closed, her breathing becoming soft and slow.

"Yes. I will." He whispered. He didn't want to imagine a world where he didn't meet Murphy. His life would be different if she wasn't around. He wouldn't be here, holding her, safe in his arms, sleeping knowing that he would protect her from everyone and everything.

He held her a little tighter, leaning his head against hers. "I won't let them hurt you anymore."

"I.."He hesitated a little, but it would be safer saying those words to Murphy even if she's sleeping and not awake. She would surely punch him if she heard him say this.

"I love you, Johana."

Short chapter, and honestly, it's not my best.
