3rd Person P.O.V
"This is a DISASTER!!! How is this even possible!?" The God of Acid threw his hands in the air after storming into the office where the council had meetings. Three of the other council members, the ones of Darkness, Lightning, and Earth followed after him. "Maybe it's not that bad-" The Goddess of Lightning tried to speak, but was interrupted by the Daniel. "Oh, but it IS."
The jackal sighed, "Look, maybe it's not-" "Oh, can it, Nox." The purple rabbit dismissed him. The Elemental of Darkness was annoyed at being dismissed like that, but just rolled his eyes and mumbled to himself, "Acid isn't even an element..." The rabbit glared at him after he spoke, but took a deep breath and ignored it.
Nox, the Elemental of Darkness, was upset that Sunny wasn't allowed to know this stuff. They had to purposely leave him behind to deal with the little wolf girl. "This 'Angel' girl will probably end up destroying us all." Nox glared at the God of Acid, "You don't KNOW that." Terra spoke up, "Nox, he's only expressing his worries-" "I know." The jackal cut off the leaf sheep. "But she's just a kid, you only need to teach her right for her to be set for life."
The Elemental of Earth mumbled to herself. "That doesn't mean it'll work..." The Goddess of Lightning rolled her eyes, "Nox, she'll probably end up JUST like him." The God of Acid nodded in agreement, "Thank you, Kitty." The tabby cat glared at Daniel for no particular reason, but to her, his tone sounded rude.
Nox gave them a look, "It can always be avoided." The God of Acid spoke up, "They're the same! You can't avoid fate!" The rabbit gritted his teeth. Terra spoke up, "The prince did what he thought was good." The Goddess of Lightning rolled her eyes, "Hurting others? How could he think that was good?" The leaf sheep sighed, her voice sounding a bit unsure, "Well-"
"If he thought that was 'good', we can easily manipulate Angel's thinking." Said the jackal. "It doesn't work like that." Said the rabbit. Nox spoke again, "What if it could?!" The God of Acid spoke as well, "What if it doesn't?!" Nox snapped, "WELL, THEN WE'RE SCREWED, AREN'T WE?!"
There was a silence... Everyone knew it was true, but they had to at least try.
Just then, Sunny, the Elemental of Light, had walked in, and everyone yelled in panic. The golden retriever was confused, "Uh... are you guys ok?" Nox spoke up first, "Of course, Sunny." Sunny smiled, "Good..! So um- I've calmed down the kid, so-"
"That's great, Sunny. Is she gone?" Terra spoke, to which Sunny swiftly nodded. "Yes, she's gone home. Her mother is going to be careful with her and help her control her powers."
The God of Acid scoffed, "Good riddance." Sunny glared at him, "She is a child, she meant no harm." "But you have to admit she was being dramatic." Kitty chimed in.
Sunny rolled his eyes, "She's only 6. Give her a break. She didn't mean to hurt anyone." Nox went up to Sunny, "How's your arm?" He asked, grabbing his left arm and inspecting it. "I'm alright, Nox." He smiled softly, "Like I said, she didn't mean it. She felt really bad about it afterwards." Nox nodded, remembering the young cub's remorse. She even hugged him in regret.
The God of Acid spoke up again, "Sunny, would you mind cleaning up after her?" Sunny sighed and nodded, leaving the room. Nox closed the door behind him, "...He has to know at some point."
Terra spoke, "Perhaps it's best for him to know nothing for now." Nox nodded, "Yeah... for now." The God of Acid looks at him with suspicion. "You want to tell him?"
Nox looks at him, "Eventually... but he deserves to know. At least at some point." Kitty shook her head, "No way. We can't trust him."
Nox rolled his eyes, "Yes we can! He's Sunny! What is he gonna do?!" Terra spoke, "I'm with Nox. The kid deserves to know. We just need a bit of time to figure this all out."
The God of Acid grumbled, "Does he..?" Terra glared, "Yes. He does." The Elemental of Darkness sighed, "I think we should just tell him." Kitty shook her head, "He's not ready." The leaf sheep growled, "He's not a child."
The God of Acid spoke, "But you treat him like one." Terra rolled her eyes, "I do not-" "Yes you do." The Goddess of Lightning deadpanned. "Even so, he's still a member of this council and he has a right to know."
"Please, he's the most immature one of us all!!" The God of Acid exclaimed. "You're the most immature!" Terra rebutted while glaring daggers at the other council member, raising her voice a little.
A small owl-cat creature had been sleeping in the corner of the room while the four gods were arguing, but now was awake. The creature yawned and stretched like a cat before walking over to the council members, first walking in front of the God of Acid and causing him to flinch away before flying up to perch on Terra's shoulder. "Hey- get your little demon rat thing away from me!!" Daniel exclaimed.
"She's not a rat! And watch your tone, I'm your superior." The Elemental of Earth said in a cold tone. "I'm a council member too!" "Not for long. The Elemental of Ice has already been found, and with how you're acting, once he becomes proper age you'll be the one he's replacing." Daniel looked a bit horrified at Terra's words, him and Kitty both giving each other nervous glances.
Terra held her head high, looking down at the God of Acid. "We're telling Sunny." She stated. Kitty scoffed, "Are you SERIOUS?!" "YES!!" Nox butted in.
--
This argument went on for a long while. Long enough to the point that the God of Acid raised his hands in surrender. "Screw you all, I'm leaving!" Daniel exclaimed before leaving.
Kitty hmphed. "...You guys can't tell him, you need the majority of the council to agree, and right now, it's a tie." Terra rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
Nox grumbled and stormed out as well. He didn't care what the council said. But he knew he couldn't go against the wishes of his peers... if only Sunny could know.
