Hiroko slept under the stars, coldness creeping in from under her blanket. She tossed and turned on the hard playground equipment. She was wrapped up in multiple layers so she wouldn't get sick.
The dorms were shut down due to some maintenance, and all of the students had to head home for the weekend. Times like those made the girl loathe UA.
She hated going home. Bakugo worried her when he noticed her saddened eyes. She didn't want him to know the truth. She didn't want him to think differently of her. She didn't want him to be repulsed by her. She didn't want to lose him.
She never cared much for people until he came into her life. She was eager to be his friend because she admired him. She was given the task of Bakugo's gauntlets and soon fell in love with the work. She found his quirk amazing and beautiful. It was destructive, and he still wanted to use it to be a hero. That was beautiful to her. That inspired her to improve his gear. She made the best only for the best.
Little did she know, Bakugo saw her from a distance. He slowly made his way up to her, quietly. He stared down at her as she basked in the moonlight. All he could do was say one thing.
"Wow..."
