"What the fuck are you doing here?" Bakugo approached the girl he was just admiring. She sat up, squinting at him. Once she realized who he was, she quickly turned away from him.

"U-uh well I uh- um..." She stumbled through her words, not finding an excuse. He frowned and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. Anger pulsed through his veins as he stared at the giant bruise on her face.

"Who did this to you? I'll beat their ass! Was it those seniors again!?" He shouted. Hiroko flinched, pulling away from him.

"It's none of your business! Just... just leave me alone!" She shouted at him. He scoffed.

"You never answered any of my questions." He crossed his arms. She sighed.

"No, those seniors haven't done anything. My parents got mad... that's all..." She trailed off. He sighed and grabbed her wrist.

"Come on." He dragged her out of the park.

"H-huh!? Where are we going?" She asked as they walked into a neighborhood.

"My house." Hiroko stared at all of the big houses. The ashe blonde dragged her into a very nice house.

"You brat! Where the hell were you!?" An ashe blonde woman walked over to the teens. The pink haired girl stared at her in surprise. She was like the female version of Bakugo. Shs assumed she was his mother.

"I went to the park." He said nonchalantly.

"Who is this?" The older woman's tone shifted. The blue-eyed girl stood there speechless at the sudden switch up.

"None of your business, you damn hag!" Bakugo shouted at her. Hiroko flinched.

"Don't talk to me that way! I carried your annoying ass for nine months, and this is the thanks I get!?" She slapped the bacl of his head. He growed, rubbing the place she hit.

"H-hello, I'm Hiroko Ito. Bakugo's friend." She bowed respectfully. To be honest, the woman scared Hiroko. She did not want to get on her bad side.

"What happened to your face, dear?" The woman asked. Hiroko gripped her oversized long sleeve shirt tightly. She didn't want to talk about it. She thought it made her pathetic. That's the last thing she wants to be.

"Did you hit her?" Mrs. Bakugo accused her son.

"WHAT!? Like hell I did!" He yelled.

"He didn't do anything wrong! I did something wrong, and I got punished, was all. I'm fine, I swear!" Hiroko stood in front of Bakugo, not wanting him to get smacked again. She sighed.

"If you say so..."

"What's all of the camotion?" A brown haired man walked over to the three of us.

"Masaru, this is Hiroko Ito. Katsuki's friend." His mother leaned into the man. He wrapped his arm around his wife's waist.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Masaru Bakugo. Katsuki's father." The older man introduced himself. I nodded.

"I'm Mitsuki Bakugo. This brat's mother. Please address us as our first names. You have permission to do the same with Katsuki." The older woman introduced herself as well. I bowed again.

"Just holler when dinner is ready." Bakugo said before dragging the girl up the stairs and into his room. He forced her to sit on his bed. Hiroko looked around his room. It was exactly like how she imagined.

"You read manga?" She asked. He nodded.

"What do you mean you got punished?" Bakugo asked.

"I don't want to talk about it..." She muttered.

"I don't give a fuck. Tell me now." He growled. She sighed, running her fingers through her hair.

"My father... hit me." She tugged at her sleeves. Suddenly, Bakugo pulled up her sleeves. She had bruises and cuts littered all over her arms. She even had a few scars. The girl pulled away quickly, fear clouding over her eyes.

"I'll kill that bastard..." he grumbled. Hiroko began to shake uncontrollably. All she could think of was her father's angry face and the beating she was gonna get for letting people see that ugly side of her.

"Ito..." he sighed, noticing her shaking figure. She made herself small. That's when he realized why she was alone all of the time. He knew her quirk couldn't be the main reason why people avoided her. Their first reaction was... off. Like it was rehearsed. She made herself the outcast to survive.

"I'm sorry... I wanted to tell you but I couldn't. You don't understand. That place is like hell and that man... he's Satan himself! I wanted to go to the police but my father is the chief! What was I supposed to do!?" Tears flowed down her cheeks.

He stood awkwardly before kneeling onto the bed. He wrapped his arms around her, giving her a hug. She cried onto him, her sobs being muffled by his chest. He drew circles on her back, trying to calm her down. Eventually, she stopped crying, and he pulled away from the hug.

"I'll protect you. I won't let you suffer anymore. Whenever you have to go home, come here. Don't go back to that place." He said.

"I can't..." She whispered.

"I'll save you." He pulled her into another hug. She closed her eyes, resting her chin on his shoulder. His smell was so intoxicating. His touch was so gentle and warm. He was like a big blanket.

"Dinner is ready!" Mitsuki yelled. The two teens pulled away and walked downstairs. Hiroko smiled happily, engaging in conversation with Mitsuki. She laughed at the antics of the Bakugo family. It felt like home. An actual home.

"You can use the guest room. Here. It's some of my old pjs." Mitsuki gave the pink haired girl some clothes. She nodded and took a quick shower.

A knock on the door startled her. She opened the door to see Bakugo. He looked her up and down before laughing. The pants were quite big on her, but the short sleeve shirt was fine.

"Don't laugh..." She blushed from embarrassment. He chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"You're an idiot." He said.

"I know." She sighed.

"Will you be okay by yourself?" He asked, noticing her clutch a blue blanket tightly.

"Can you... lay with me until I fall asleep?" She asked. He sighed before nodding.

"Don't make it weird." He said, getting into the bed with her.

"I would never." She cuddled up in her blanket. They both fell into a comfortable silence.

"Thank you..." Hiroko broke the silence.

"You're welcome." He replied, rubbing her back.

"Goodnight, Katsuki."

"Goodnight, Hiroko."
