Monkey King wiped off the dirt on his cheek.
- Kid. Stop this! - He cried out, moving forward to get a hit.
MK easily dodged the attack, and countered it by pinning the monkey on the wall with his staff fifty times bigger and wider.
- Yeaaaah. No. I'm so sick of this. Playing the 'good guy'. Like where's the fun in that? -
Macaque appeared behind him, and hit him with his dark edgy version of MK's staff.
Instead of dodging it, MK managed to catch it midway with his hand.
- So you're planning to join the losing team? - Macaque chuckled as he took his weapon off the boy's grip.
- Hm... Then I'll just earn some more points and make the losing team into a winning team. - MK swiftly grabs a hand of his hair, creating a few monkie clones to attack the warrior. - Anyway, the great sage who's equal to heaven, is my predecessor and I am his successor. I think I'm bound to be winning in any side – good or bad. -
- Wukong! Now is the best time to be fighting back! - The warrior yelled out, causing MK to look back to the pinned king.
Both, the king and the warrior simultaneously created their clones. MK was startled as Monkey King's clones and Macaque's shadow clones had move towards him. Once again, MK created his clones to counter the duo's clones.
With the monkie kid distracted, Macaque pulled out Monkey King via shadow portal, releasing him from being pinned by the staff.
- You owe me -
- I don't owe you anything! - The great sage retorted back and changed the size of the staff back to normal.
The height to the ground was not that high as they all landed with ease. The two looks at the ground. They didn't have much space. One wrong step, they could fall.
Macaque saved Monkey King's skin by blocking MK's sudden attack which could have made them fall of the cliff. (But that would be fine, after all, they can shapeshift into birds.)
- You owe me again -
- Fineee... -
MK took out a strange object, which the king recognised what it was. Before MK had threw the object at them, Monkey King pushed Macaque out of the way.
- Now I don't owe you anymore - Monkey King grinned as those were his last words as he was then sucked inside the object.
- Wukong... - The warrior safely landed on Monkey King's cloud, - you idiot... -
He then glared at the monster who picked up the object. Now that he got a good look at it, it would seem that it was similar to the lantern he once had – which traps anyone inside it and...
- You used that on Mei. -
- Haha! I did! It's beautiful, isn't it? Also how's Mei? Where is she now? - MK spoke in his normal voice. It was as if they were back to normal and having a normal conversation. Except, the six eared monkey is not convinced. He knows that if he leaks that information, they will all be doomed.
So instead, he said: - Sorry bud, I'd love to sit and talk all day... But I gotta go now! Bye! -
Macaque waved his hand as made his exit. However, the boy wasn't about to let him go yet! Just as the monkey was about to leave, MK threw the golden bands at him.
The golden bands bind themselves on Macaque, just like how it did for Red Son.
