Nothingness

Chapter 6

Today was the day! Tom Miller, George Courtree and Timothy Greenway were going up to space! They had been at NASA for a few days, just going through health and safety for when the go up. But them days were over, the real day had actually arrived. They were being loaded into the rocket, they were all getting a little bit nervous now, but extremely exited! Timothy had finally seen the real side of Tom, they had become quite good friends, Tom had also seen that Timothy was not an actual chav, he just tries to be like that because he is also really stupid and he was trying to cover it up!

They were ready to go up now, Tom had been distracted by all of the buttons in the spaceship, he had always wanted to be in one, and now he finally was! There must have been about 200 buttons in front of them. They started to hear the countdown " 10... 9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF!" The rocket started to move, vibrate and make really loud noises! They all of a sudden started to go up, up, up and up! Then they stopped moving, they were up in space. The rocket came to a sudden stop, they had landed, on the moon. "Come on then lads, off you get" Said the captain person. He was meaning that they come off the rocket and go for a walk on the moon.

When they were on the moon there was silence, nobody was talking, they were all so shocked that they were actually on the moon. Tom looked around him, there was lots of stars and in the distance, the sun. It looked an awful lot bigger than from on the Earth but yet they knew that it still did not look as big as it is from close up, but of course nobody could go close to it because they would die! But except from that, there was nothing there!
