It took a while for that news to sink into Tom's mind. He did not ever think that this day was going to come. He was so exited he just could not wait for the lesson to start. Time was going so slow Tom could not believe it! All Tom could do was think "hurry up! Hurry up!" But that did not make time go faster.
Eventually, Mr Swaynbi started the lesson, then he ended it! Tom asked "why are you stopping there?" And he did get a reply, from one of the chavs on the back row! "It's break time you dummy!" Tom's face turned, the lesson had gone so fast you could not even imagine it! But Tom knew that there would be another lesson tomorrow, same time, same place!
Weeks and weeks of science lessons went by without Tom realising, he was having such fun in the lessons about space, that was all he was thinking about all day, everyday!
