Megara was the daughter of a demon king and a fairy queen. The most feared king ends up having a child with the most loved queen. Their kid has huge black wings and can float on command. She woke up today with a light heart and ready to start her day. Don't we all wish to do the same?
She takes a quick shower and puts on new clothes. She waves her wings gently as she goes down a black wooden staircase with a red carpet in the middle. As she follows the carpet, she stands behind a group of people asking questions. She curtsies in front of the throne in which her father sits up. "Good morning, my little devil." Her father greets her with a smile, making the people look back and move to the side.
"Good morning, father." She smiles back and to the people.
"Be sure to drink from the keg today." He advises. "Great Windchau tells me you have a deadly experiment today."
Great Windchau is the wizard tutor of Megara. For years and years he has taught many of the famous witches and wizards that we know today. Although, it wouldn't be obvious due to his hair still being dark brown and shiny. The only signs of him aging are his slightly slouched back and middle-aged beard. He gives all his students a keg that contains all the possible antidotes for all the possible spells. They don't work in science labs to test it on guinea pigs. So unfortunately and fortunately the practicing witches and wizards have to test it on themselves.
"Alright, thanks." She curtsies and makes her way to the dining hall. It is fairly small because it does take an arm and a leg to even be at the castle. Everyone knows that her father, Azratoth, built his kingdom in another dimension. With access from the wizard tower and cemetery, only a specific group of people would find a safe way in. And only a few brave enough to attempt it. Just like what her father advised, she takes a wooden mug and places it under the tap of the keg. She takes a sip and lips her licks once it fills to the brim.
After eating, she curtsies once more and makes her way to the portal all the way across the castle. "You be safe now!" She hears her dad say from behind. She floats down the bridge connecting the castle and the other piece of land that are separated by the lava river. She takes a look around the wilted flowers and leaf-less trees. She steps onto a platform of stone that provides support for the portal to the main kingdom. The portal is circle in shape and has layered rocks to keep it standing in place. She enters the pink and purple swirling energy.
