Once back inside the room with the guys, it took all of three seconds for them to notice and the cheering to commence. I smiled at them and took the glass of white wine outstretched to me. Without hesitation, the guys all looked at the rose in my hand and quieted down. "I guess everyone knows what this is," I say as I waved the rose in the air. "Before I hand this out I want to say that everyone here has been amazing. I have had the most amazing night ever. I know there are a few of you I have not gotten to talk to, but that's ok. We have a little bit before the ceremony. I will make sure everyone, and I mean everyone gets a few minutes with me. I know that's not how it's usually done but this is my season and I will do what I feel is right. So here is to a fun and exciting night ahead." I lifted my glass in the air wait for the guys to do the same. They all lift whatever glass they had in their hands and began cheering again. I take a drink from my glass and walk over to a group of guys.

The group consisted of Alex, David H. and Lane. I looked at the three of them and smile. "Hey guys can I steel Alex away real quick?" I asked them. They shoot their eyes towards Alex and back up. "Of course, go ahead," Lane responds.

I take Alex's hand and walk him out of the room and to a little sitting area. He let's me sit down first and follows me, sitting down next to me. He places his hand on my leg and smiles at me. "I told you we would talk again tonight." I looked at him and smile. I lifted the rose in front of us. "I have always known that I was going to have to hand one of these out eventually but was dreading it. I had no clue if I was going to have a real lasting first impression. Then, I met you. From the moment you came out of your limo, you made me feel less nervous. Then, you were the first to pull me aside and we had such a good conversation. Although it was a little short, I feel like I have gotten to know you the most. You make me comfortable and relaxed. When I was given the rose, I was sure without a doubt that I wanted to give it to you." I paused for a second to see his reaction. He looked absolutely shocked. "So, Alex.." I said making eye contact with him. He looked back into my eyes and smiled. "Alex will you accept this rose?" I asked him with a smile. "Of course I will. Thank you." he said as I pinned the rose to his suit jacket. He embraced me in a warm hug and whispered, "I'm excited for this journey with you." I smiled and gave him a small squeeze. We released and looked at each other.

"I was so nervous that I didn't make any kind of impression with you because we had so little time together. I got into my head way to much waiting," he said while he took both my hands into his. I looked at them and noticed the warmth I have missed all night. I looked back at him and smiled. "You have been on my mind all night. I have of course gave time to everyone but you have just been in the back of my head. I just knew I wanted more of you." We both laugh at that and move closer to each other.

"Well before we go inside, I really want to give you something." I already know what he is wanted to give me, but I play along. "You got me a gift? No way. I love gifts."

He chuckles a little as his hand moves to my cheek. I lean into his touch and close my eyes. His hand is so warm and comfortable. He began leaning in until our lips brushed together. My insides started doing flips. "My gosh he's a good kisser. His lips are so soft and warm."  After a few minutes, he pulled away and I was left stunned. I was not expecting that kind of feeling. "That was... amazing. Did you see the fireworks too?" I asked. We both smiled and started laughing. "I thought that was only in my head. These producers need to be payed more." He says as he begins standing back up. "As much as I would love to keep you here the rest of the night, I know you will hate yourself if you didn't get to know all the other guys. Ally, I am so excited to begin the crazy journey together. Let's go inside." He helps me up and walk hand in hand to the main room again. I let his hand go whenever we get into the room. I don't want all the other guys to feel uncomfortable. I look up at Alex and he just smiles and gives me a small nod in assurance.
