Princess to the public, but a freak when it's time.

Chapter Three

Ugh Monday, the weekend went by really fast. My parents didn't find out about the party Kate through, but when do they. I did nothing but study and think about Calum. I remembered the way his lips felt on mine and just thought about what he said after words, I don't know why but it hurt a little.

Right now I'm sitting in biology, I didn't even notice that I dozed off until I heard my name being called. "Alyssa, hey are you ok?", I hear Yuri call me. "Um yea I just doze off", I responded. Yuri is my best friend, well only friend but who cares. I've known her since 3rd grade and we've been best friends since then. I tell her everything and she tells me everything. "So, what were you thinking about or who?", Yuri asks. "I wasn't thinking about no one", I tell her. "Oh come on, you're gonna have to try harder than that if you want me to believe you. I've known you almost my whole life, we are best friends for goodness sake"! She exclaims. "Well I wasn't thinking about nobody important", " oh, so you were thinking of someone", she smirks. "U-um no well, yea you caught, I can't lie to you", "omg I knew it! Tell me everything!" She exclaimed. "Ok ok, I'll tell you at lunch". The rest of biology pass really quickly and so did history and math. Well of course they did, I have history with Luke and he sits beside me and math with Kate and she sits behind me. I entered math and sat down waiting for the bell to ring that signal that it was time for lunch. When Kate walk in with an enormous smirk in her face. "So, Luke told me something", she said as soon as she sat down. "What did he say?", I asked while turning to face her. "He told not to say it cause it's something Calum told him", she responded. All of a sudden I felt nervous. "W-what did Calum say to Luke?", I asked her. "He said that Calum said that you and him made out at the party", she said while smirking. i didn't say anything but turn really red. "Omg so it is true!" She yelled, getting looks from the people around her. "Why didn't you tell me I'm your sister, forget that I'm your twin sister." she whined. "He told me to never speak of it and just move on with my life. So that's what I'm doing", I told her. "Ugh but still he so hot and you totally have a crush on him", "W-what no I don't". "Yes you do you're blushing really hard, but don't worry I won't say anything" she said while closing her mouth. The bell then rang signaling to go to lunch. As always, I walked with Kate and Luke to lunch and then leave them to go with Yuri.

"So, tell me everything. who's the boy and what happen that made you think of him today." Yuri asked as soon as we sat down. "Ok I'm gonna tell you but don't say anything, ok?" I told her. "ok I promise, now spill", she responded. After I told her it was Calum she had a mini freak out session and then when I told her what happen at the party she had a major freak out session. "Omg Alyssa! You made out with Calum Hood, not just Calum Hood but the sexiest guy ever", Yuri exclaimed as she clapped her hands. "I'm really proud of you, I didn't know that under all that nerdy frame there was a freak inside of there" she said. "Oh shut up Yuri", I told her, while throwing my napkin at her. "What! You never know what kind of real person you are under all that nerdy shy girl image", she said once again. The rest off lunch we talked about small things and at the end of lunch we got up and threw away our trash and walked back to class. I was walking to class when I saw a couple making out by the restrooms. Disgusting. I looked at them once again and notice that it was Calum and this girl, I don't know why but my heart broke a little. I quickly looked away and walked faster to class. As I said the rest of math went by super quick, but then came literature. Ugh, the only class I have with Calum, how an I gonna be able to compose myself. I walked in and notice that he wasn't there yet, he's always skipping so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't show up. I sat down and took out my things I needed for this class and waited for Mrs.Bale to start class. I was rereading over my homework from over the weekend when I felt someone sit beside me. I look over and see Calum already looking at me, I look away so he wouldn't see that I was blushing a bit. "Well my mom always taught me to say hello when you see someone but, I guess you don't know that", I hear Calum say. "H-hi Calum", you respond. Why are you stuttering!? Ugh I'm so stupid control yourself Alyssa. "Well hello there", Calum responded.
That's when Mrs.Bale walks in, ahh thank you. "Ok class I'll be nice and give you guys the whole class to work on your projects I gave you guys", Mrs.Bale announced to the whole class. Great. "Ok so I'm gonna assign you guys a place where you and your partner can go and work. As soon as I call you and tell you, you may leave". Mrs.Bale told all of us. "Calum and Alyssa you guys are going to the library upstairs, you may leave". With that I grab my things got up and left the room, not even bothering to check if Calum was behind me or not. All I wanted was to get this stupid project over with already. "Well that was kinda rude to just leave me back there like that", Calum said as soon as he caught up to me. I just rolled my eyes and walked faster, but he still caught up to me and walked at my pace. "You and your sister are very different you're all quiet while she on the other hand never shuts up". I hear him chuckle under his breath. The rest of the walk there was quiet, thank goodness. Calum got ahead of me and opened the library door, I was about to say thank you to him for holding the door open when all of a sudden it shuts in my face. "What a gentlemen", I murmured under my breath. I open the door and looked for Calum to see if he found a table.
When I finally spotted him he was leaning against the wall with this girl all over him. Stupid. How could you forget that you are paired up with the most popular bad boy player in this school. I just rolled my eyes and walk towards the table at the back of the library, hopefully he won't see me and leave. I set my book bag on the floor, open it, take out my book and started to read it.
I was so into the book that I didn't even feel when someone say in the chair beside me. "So what's the book about so far?", I jumped startled at the sound of Calum's voice. "Why don't you open up yours and find out for yourself", I answer him. "You're a feisty one, I can see", he responded.
"Look let's just read the book, write the essay and get this over with, alright?", I said while looking at him.
"Look, I don't now who you think you're talking but there's no way you can talk to me like that. If you're mad because of what happened at the party, then you're stupid. Like I told you forget about it, it didn't mean anything to me, to me you were just another easy girl I could have". He told me and with that he got up and left the library, leaving me there dumbfounded and my heart breaking just a little.

Ugh, finally school is over. Good thing I walk home, I have more time to think to myself during this time. For some reason Calum's words have been replaying in my head, it's true though he is a player so why did I expect much. I was looking down not watching where I was going, when I bumped into someone. I look up to find Calum already looking at me, he was walking with Ashton and Michael. I muttered a quick sorry and excuse me and walked ahead of them.
"Alyssa wait up", I hear someone calling me. I turned around and saw Ashton running towards me leaving Calum and Michael behind. I've known Ashton for awhile now, when my sister started dating Luke, Ashton was the first one we both met out of the other two. "Hey Ashton", I said while looking up at him.
"Ugh how many times do I have to tell you to call me Ash", Ashton whined. "I thought only your friends can call you that", I answered him.
"Omg we've each other for so long and you think you're not my friend, and I thought you were smart". Ashton told me while giggling. "I am smart", I exclaimed, while throwing my hands up. "Yea, I know you are", Aston answer me while poking my side, causing me to laugh.
Ashton is just like Luke, imitating from the outside but cute and bubbly on the inside, which is why I like him. "So, what are you doing Friday night?", Ashton asks me, while throwing his arm over my shoulder. "Um, nothing much just gonna study and sleep I guess",
"Ugh all you do is study, don't you do anything fun?" Ashton said while groaning. "As a matter of fact yes I do" I argued back. "Oh really, like what?", Ashton said while looking at me. "I-i u-umm",
"See you don't even know what to say" Ashton said while chuckling. "Well to give you something to do, why don't you come to the movies with me Friday?" Ashton asks me, "I'm not taking no for an answer".
After a moment of silence I answer him. "Fine I'll go, hopefully you'll see that I can be fun", I said while Ashton fiat pumped in the air. I just laugh at his childish reaction.
"Ok see you Friday, I'll text you the details. It's a date, so wear something pretty", Ashton said while stopping since we were already in front of my house. "A date?" I asks surprise. "Yes a date. So I'll see you on Friday and in school but most importantly on Friday" Ashton told me while giving me a hug. "Bye Alyssa, goodnight" Ashton said while waving. "Bye Ash, goodnight", I said while walking to my front door. I turned around to see Calum and Michael waiting for Ashton. "See you Friday, wear something pretty", Ashton yelled over at me. I just nodded and laugh at his childness.
As I was looking away I caught Calum's eyes on me, he looked pissed off and he looked at Ashton like he was about to kill him. I just shrugged it off and unlock the door and went inside my house.
"Hey sweetie, how was school?", My mom asks. "Good, mom", I replied. "Well that's good to hear sweetheart. There is some left overs in the fridge and I'm leaving cause I'm gonna be late for work. Bye Alyssa." "Bye mom, be safe". "I will sweetie" my mom responded and close the door behind her as she waved goodbye. I went into the kitchen and took out the left overs and put them in the microwave.
I was looking out the kitchen mirror, when I heard footsteps behind me. "Hey", Kate greeted me, "Hey", I replied with a big smile on my face. "Why are you so happy? Did you get another good grade because if you did we already talked about it, it's nothing to get happy about", Kate asks me.
"What? No, I have a date this Friday", I told her.
"Omg, really? With who, wait don't tell me is it Calum?", she started asking questions.
"Eww no not him, it's somebody else, you know him too", I told Kate while she stood there thinking. "Well then tell me who, I want to know", Kate pleaded while tugging on my arm.
"Ok ok, don't say anything but Ashton asked me out today", I told her.
"Omg really!? Luke told me Ashton liked this girl but would never tell me who. Then it turns out that you are the mystery lady", Kate said while jumping around.
*Beep* the microwave went off, scaring both of us and we let out a scream and laugh after we found out what it was. I put the food on a plate and went upstairs to my room while Kate went to hers. I already knew Luke was hear because I could hear faint rap music playing from Kate's room.
When I got in my room I close the door and checked my phone and saw that I had a message.

I couldn't help but let out a squeal and fall into my bed.
I'm going on a date with Ashton Irwin.

(A/n): Wow it's been awhile since I last update and I'm sorry. My watt pad was acting stupid and deleted all the writing I had for this chapter and then my wifi stopped working so couldn't update. I hope you like this chapter and I'll see you later.
