Princess to the public, but a freak when it's time.

Chapter Four

For some reason Friday came by so quickly, I don't know if it was because we do the some thing everyday by going to school then coming back home or maybe it was because I am excited.
I saw Ashton during school, he would wave at me and shoot me a wink and all I could do was blush and wave back.

I woke up extra happy today. I just knew that today was going to be a great day and nobody can ruin it or at least that's what I thought.
"Good morning twinie", Kate yelled out as soon as I stepped into the dining room. She was siting eating her cereal, so I took a seat beside her and started to eat mine.
"Good morning Kate", I responded with a big smile on my face.
"Hmm I wonder what the reason behind that smile is", Kate told me while smirking. "Ah stop it your making me blush", I said while slapping her playfully.
"Oh Luke's here, see you at school", Kate said while picking up her dish and putting it in the sink.
"Bye see you", I waved back. I finished my cereal and put my plate in the sink. I grabbed my bag and walked out and locked the door and starting my journey to school.

"Hey hey girl, so you ready for tonight?" Luke asked me while wiggling his eyebrows.
"Omg Luke leave me alone before Mr.Smith says something", I whisper back at Luke while trying to pay attention to the teacher.
"Damn, ok I was just asking you a question miss smarty pants geez", I just  rolled my eyes and whispered a whatever to Luke. The rest of history went by quickly aside from the constant questions Luke would shoot at me.
At some point we both got scolded at by the teacher for talking while he was. I apologized right away while Luke just rolled his eyes causing him to get a detention.
Math went by the same with Kate nagging to me about all the question and how they were stupid. The teacher got tired of her at some point and gave her detention too. It's weird, it's almost like if they plan getting detention together.
The bell for lunch rang and we all got out of seats and headed to the cafeteria. I didn't though, I made my way to the library.
Yuri isn't here today, and there's no way I'm sitting by myself at lunch.
Kate and Luke both ask me if I wanted to sit with them but I said no because when they're together there's no eating just making out.

I was enjoying my stay at the library, and when I say was I mean was because the next thing I knew I was in the nurses office with a ice pack on my head and a very looking guilty Michael beside me.
"I'm so sorry Alyssa, I didn't mean to throw the book at your head. I was trying to hit the kid behind you", Michael kept apologizing. "It's fine Mickey, I know it was an accident", I reassured him. He just nodded and waited with me until the nurse said it was ok for me to leave. Out of all the boys I've known Michael the longest, even before Kate and Luke started dating.
We were in the same 3rd grade class, he came up to me and pushed me off the swing cause he wanted to get on it.
From there it was a start of a beautiful friendship. I met Luke when Michael started talking to me about him around middle school.
About how he didn't like him because his fringe was longer than his. Then at lunch he still invited him over to sit with us, and by us I mean Michael, Kate, and me. A few years later we met Ashton and Calum and Luke asked out Kate. When the guys met Ashton and Calum they were already bad and that just brought a bad influence on the guys, or it's at least what I thought. It was mostly Calum though he was the one that told what to do and it was all bad things. Then pretty soon high school came along and they were named the four bad boys of the school.
Ever since then they haven't lost that name, not doing their work, ignoring teachers, skipping, and bullying helpless nerds. Of course the guys have never bullied me, well except for Calum, he always liked pushing me around and I hated it.
"Well Alyssa, you are good to go and please be more careful at who you're throwing your books at", the nurse said while looking at Michael.
"Yes miss, I will", Michael said while nodding. "Ok well in that case I'll write you guys both a pass and you may to your class. Straight to class", she said while looking at Michael yet again.
All Michael was nod and look at the floor. She wrote our notes and we left heading for class.
"You're not going to class, are you Mickey?", I asked him. "Awe, Alyssa you know me so well and that's why you're my best friend", Michael said while hugging me. "Ah yeah", I said while hugging him back too.
"But you better go straight class young lady, you hear me? I don't need failing now, because who's gonna take care me when we are old and you have a job and I don't", Michael said while dramatically falling on the floor.
"Oh gosh Mickey, stop being so dramatic and get up" I said while giggling at his childishness.
"Ok ok, but for real get to class, bye Alyssa love you", Michael said while blowing me a kiss. "Bye Mickey, love you too", I said while pretending to catch the kiss. We just laughed and went our separate ways. As I was turning the corner I bumped into someone.
"You must really like bumping into me huh", I heard Calum say while chuckling. "I'm sorry", I said while trying to get to class. "Now where do you think you're going, huh?".
"I'm trying to get to class, so can you please get out of the way",
"My pleasure, but only because you need to finish that stupid project for Ms.Bale", Calum said while stepping aside.
"Jerk", I muttered under my breath as soon as I was far away from him.
"Who's a jerk?", I jumped hearing a voice ask me. "Sorry Alyssa I didn't mean to scare you", the person giggled and I recognized who it was. "Nobody important Ashton", I turned around to see him. As soon as I saw that dimpled filled smile, I forgot why I was mad in the first place.
"Why are you out of class? Omg is Alyssa MarJudy Lane skipping class!?", Ashton asked me while faking a gasp.
"No, I was at the nurses office because Michael threw a book at my head", I explained to him.
"Omg he did?", Ashton said while laughing.
"Yes he did and it's not funny", I said while pouting.
"Awe come on don't pout, you look so adorable", Ashton said whole pinching my cheeks. I could feel my cheeks turn a deep shade of red.
"Why are out of class?", I asked him. "Oh yea, I was coming from using the restrooms and that's reminds me we should both get to class", he said while looking at his watch. I nodded agreeing with him.
"Bye Ashton, get to class", I said.
"Bye Alyssa, you get to class too and see you later on tonight", he said while winking. Here come the blush, I waved and walked to class.

"Ok class remember to work on your projects and if you need to see your partner over the weekend then do it. As long as you'll have that project done", Ms.Bale said before dismissing the class. "You may leave as soon as the bell rings", and with that the bell rang. "Have nice weekend everybody", Ms.Bale called out to everyone.
Finally school is over and now all I need to focus on is my date with Ashton tonight.

I walked home like always, making my stop by the library, like I do every Friday. After there I went straight home.
When I got home I saw Luke's car park in our drive way and I also saw my mom heading out.
"Hey mom", I greeted her.
"Hey sweetie, there's food on the stove and good luck tonight", she winked.
"Oh gosh, bye mom. Have a nice day at work and be careful", I told her.
"You be careful too", she winked once again. "Bye mom", I said before walking in and closing the door.
I put my stuff in my room and went down stairs to find Kate and Luke already eating what my mom left us.
"Hey guys", I greeted them. They both greeted back at the same time.
I went to the kitchen and serve me some food and say down on the table with them.
"So Alyssa, you excited for tonight", Luke asked with his mouth full. "First of all disgusting and second of all yes I'm really excited."
"What will you guys be doing", Kate said while taking a sip of her juice.
"I think he said we are going to see a movie", I told her.
"Sounds exciting", Luke said while wriggling his eyebrows. "Yea it does", Kate said agreeing with him.
We all finished eating while making small talk. Luke and Kate got up and put their dishes in the sink and left upstairs to Kate's room. I quickly washed all the dishes and went upstairs  to try and get ready.
I went upstairs and checked my phone while laying down on the bed. I was just scrolling through Instagram when I got a message.
Hey! Don't forget that we have that date today. Can't wait!! :) the movie doesn't start till 8, but we'll go out to eat before. So I'll pick you at 6:30 , so be ready!! Can't wait to see you!! :D

I couldn't help but smile and reply with a quick ok and see you later. I looked over at my clock and saw that it was 4:45. I need to get ready.
I got up and looked through my closet and I couldn't find anything new that I haven't worn yet. I had no other potion that to go ask Kate for some clothes.
I walked down the hallway to her room and knocked.
"Come in", I heard Kate say from inside. I walked in and her and Luke were just cuddling on the bed.
"Can I borrow some clothes?", I asked her walking towards her closet.
"You owe me five dollars", she said while looking at Luke. "Yea go ahead knock yourself out, I have some new clothes in there you can borrow", she told me while getting up and handing me the clothes.
"Thanx Kate, you're a lifesaver", I said while giving her a hug. "Anytime lil sis", she responded while rustling my hair. "Only by 2 minutes", I said while pushing her away playfully.
As I was about to leave I heard Luke call out to me.
"Hey have fun and be careful", he said while winking. "Omg shut up Luke", I said before walking out. I walked back to my room. I laid the clothes on my bed and looked at them. They weren't different from what I wear so I decided to go with a red skater dress and some black flats. I quickly hopped in the shower, when I got out I saw it was already 5:30. I only have another hour to get ready. I quickly dried my hair and straightened out.
I then went to my dresser and took out my make up bag. I wanted to go with a more natural look so I only put eyeliner, mascara, a little bit of blush, and put on some red lipstick. After that I went to my bed and put on the dress and looked at myself I'm the mirror and I had to say I was satisfied.
I turn to look at my clock 6:15, I had fifteen minutes to kill. I lauded down on my bed and just scrolled through my phone.

"Hey Alyssa, your date is here for you", I hear Kate said while she knocked and them came in. I soon as she saw me she let out a sweaty land practically yelled in my face.
"Holy shît Alyssa you look sexy!", Kate exclaimed. "Ashton better not try anything funny", Kate said.
"Really, you think so?", I asked her.
"Hell yeah, Ashton sure is one lucky guy", Kate said while hugging me. "Well before I cry and gush in how proud I am of you. Let's get you down stairs so you can leave", Kate told me. Kate and I made out way down stairs so that I could leave with Ashton in our date. When I reached the bottom stair I looked up to see Ashton and Luke looking at me.
"Damn Alyssa you look hot", Luke said while nudging Ashton who still hadn't said anything.
"U-um you ready to go?",Ashton asked while extending his hand out for me to take.
"Yeah let me just get my purse", I told him while making my way back up the stairs. I'm stupid why didn't I just get it when I was coming downstairs.

We were siting at a little restaurant that Ashton had made reservation at.
"Wow Alyssa you look really stunning tonight", Ashton said while looking at me from the menu.
"Thank you Ashton, you don't look bad yourself either", I responded and could tell he was blushing a bit when I said that. It was silent for awhile because we were looking at the menu.
"So what are you planning to get?", Ashton asks me, breaking the silence.
"Um I don't know, I was thinking of ordering a salad. How bout you?".
"A salad really? You know what I'm getting the monster burger and we are sharing it", Ashton said while taking my menu and calling over the waiter.
"Hello my name is Logan and I'll be your waiter for today can I start you off with your drink".
"Yea, I'll have a sprite and she'll have a sweet tea", Ashton said while looking at me. I gave him a small nod telling that it was correct.
"We are actually ready to order also".
"Ok what will you be having", the waiter said while looking at me.
"Um yes we'll be sharing the monster burger,please", Ashton said while handing him the menus.
"I'll bring your drinks over as soon as possible", Logan said while winking at me making me blush a little and walking away.
"How was your week, Alyssa?", Ashton asks while leaning in to listen to me.
"The same as every week we have school, I've just been having a hard time with this project I have in language arts", I told.
"Oh the project you have to do with Calum?", he ask.
"Yea that one", I sad while nodding my head.
"I'm really sorry about that he can be a real pain in the arse, but I promise you he isn't really like that", Ashton told me.
"Yeah, the day Calum starts benign nice to me is the day I'll tell Luke he's the sexy person ever", I said while chuckling.
"Yea that'll be the day", Ashton said while throwing his head back in laughter. Logan brought our drinks and didn't fail to try and flirt with me again.
After a while of just making small talk with Ashton and non stop laughing, Logan brought out burger. I can't lie it was a pretty big burger and I didn't think we are gonna be able to finish it.
"Here you go, enjoy. If you need anything just call me", Logan said while once again just looking at while sending me a small wink.
"Well if you can excuse yourself, I would like to enjoy the rest of my date. Also do me a favor and stop trying to flirt with her, it's sad actually", Ashton said while glaring at Logan.
Logan muttered a quick apology and left clearly embarrassed.
"Ashton you didn't have to that harsh", I told Ashton while giving him a disapproving nod.
"What!? You actually think I was gonna let him flirt with you. He can clearly see that your on a date with me, he's not blind", Ashton said while throwing his hands up in the air.
"You do have a point but you could of let him down a little easier", I told him while giggling. He was jealous and I could tell that and I was gonna have some fun with that.
"Or is it that Ashton Irwin is jealous of another guy!?", I gasped falsely.
"What!? No! Never! Ashton Irwin doesn't get jealous especially of another guy that's not as sexy as himself!", Ashton said while looking down clearly embarrassed.
"Yea ok, so I can call Logan over and ask him where the bathroom is, since you don't mine", I said while teasing him.
"No! Please don't! Ok ok I am a little jealous", Ashton turning completely red. "Ah let's just finish eating so we can catch the movie".
We finished eating and asked for the pay check. I kept telling Ashton that I would pay at least half but he didn't let me. Insisting that this was a date and he should pay because he was the man.

We got to the movie and I managed to pay for our tickets without Ashton noticing. He eventually found out and scolded at me and insisted on paying me back the money but I refused it every time.
We ended watching paper towns, I had read the book but never watched the movie.

After the movie was over, Ashton decided that we should take a walk at the park that was nearby.
"I really enjoyed tonight", Ashton said while intertwining our fingers. The touching of our hands made me blush.
"I had a great time Ashton, thank you for today", I said while looking up at him. He was already looking, he smiled showing of his dimples.
You guys walked for a little bit more and then decided to head back to his car to leave since it was getting late. The car ride was silent with the radio playing in the background but you enjoyed it.

"I had a great time tonight Ashton, thank you", I told Ashton while we were by my front door.
"I had an amazing time too Alyssa. Thank you for accepting to go out with me. I was kinda worried you would rejected me cause you know we are friends and all, but I've always had a little crush on you. Luke was the only one that knew I liked someone but I never told him it was you an-".
"Ashton stop talking, I would have never rejected you because I think you're cute", I said giggling at his blabbing.
"Ah I'm so sorry, it's that you make me nervous", Ashton said while laughing.
I just smiled and turned toward the door about to open it when I felt Ashton grab my wrist.
"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Ash", Ashton said while looking at me.
"I'm sorry I for-"
"Ugh you talk to much", and before I knew it Ashton smashed his lips on mine. I was shocked for a moment but then I finally came to my senses and kissed him back. When I did that I felt him smile making me smile too. I felt Ashton lick my bottom lip asking for entrance when all of a sudden there was cough behind us, making us pull apart.
I looked past Ashton to see who was there and there stood the one and only Calum Hood.
"Um can I get through", Calum said while gesturing towards the door.
"Oh yea let me open it for you", I said while digging in my purse and got my key and opens it. "There you go", I told Calum. He just muttered a small thank you before going inside.
I turned back to Ashton and let out a awkward laugh and Aston just rubbed the back of his neck.
"I'm gonna go home now, I'll see you Monday", Ashton told me while coming close to me again.
"Ok Ash, get home safe", I told him while looking up at him.
He leaned and gave me a quick peck on the lips before hugging me.
He let me go and turned away while waving. I waved back before turning around and opened my front door. I put my bag on the table and made my way to my room, when I caught a glimpse of someone on the couch.
It was Calum and he had his head in his hands and it looked like he was crying. I walked into the living room and looked at Calum and I heard him sniffle.
"Calum, what's wrong?", I asked him while sitting on the couch beside him.
"Nothing go away and leave me alone", he said while pushing me off the couch.
I groaned and got up and looked at him angrily.
"What the hell is your problem? I'm just trying to be nice and see what's bothering you but no you always have to be a self observe dîck", I yelled at him angrily.
"Since when do you care what's wrong with me! Last time I checked I've never been nice to you so why are you being nice to me!", he yelled back.
"You know what you're right Calum, why am I being nice to you when all you've ever done was treat me like shít", I said in a quieter voice while turning away to go to my room.
I was turning away to leave when I felt someone pull me back from my wrist and I landed on someone's lap.
I was shocked when I felt Calum's arms tighten around my waist and his face on my neck. I felt his tears wetting my neck, I didn't know what to do so I hugged him back while stroking his hair.
"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you Alyssa. I've made you feel like shít and I hope can forgive me", Calum said while crying.
"I forgive you Calum, just please tell me why your crying", I asked him softly.
"I'll tell you but promise me it'll stay between you and me", he said while looking in my eyes.
"I promise I won't tell anyone Calum", I told him looking back into his eyes.
"Ok I just-
