Princess to the public, but a freak when it's time.

Chapter One

"Get up Alyssa, we're gonna be late!" I wake up hearing my sister, Kate yell. Looking over to my clock, 6:45. Holy crap we're going to be late! I ran to the shower and started to get ready. We ran downstairs, saying a quick goodbye to our mom and started our journey to school.

We made it just 5 minutes before the first bell rang, signaling to go our first class. Luckily my sister and I made it just in time. "Twinsters", Luke says as he walks up to us. "Hey babe", Kate said back, kissing him on the cheek. Luke Hemmings the tall blonde with blue eyes. Also my sisters boyfriend, on the outside Luke has a reputation of a bad boy around the school but on the inside he's absolutely different. I've known him for awhile, he has been dating my sister for about 3 years now, I think. Once you get to know him he is so sweet and super nice, completely opposite from the Luke you see around school. I guess I'm lucky to be friends with the real Luke not the reputation holder Luke. "Surprise surprise, usually where you go so is your best mate. Did he finally say that he's not coming to sch-"I was saying until I was cut off by that voice that I knew to well, the voice that I wanted to run from away each time I heard it. "I'm right here babe", The voice said, I knew that voice well to much to know who the person is talking. The one and only Calum Hood. Calum was Luke's best mate, but Calum on the other hand was so much different than Luke. Calum was not sweet on the inside, he was mean on inside and outside. He was the walking devil, picking on kids and always finding his way to get kicked out of class. "Hello Alyssa, are you ok? It looks like you've seen a ghost", Kate said. "Um no I'm gonna go to class see you later, bye guys". With that I grabbed all my things and ran to my first block.

The rest of the day went by pretty smooth. But, I knew it wasn't gonna last because guess who has Calum Hood in their final block, yea the answer is me! Lucky aren't I. "Ok class we are having our seats changed", Mrs. Bale said. Great. I think I dozed off but came back once she called my name. "Alyssa and Calum you guys are in the same group". WTF! No this can't be happening. I look over to where she was pointing and Calum was already there. I'm going to give you some reasons I want to die. 1). it was Calum Hood 2). It's at the back of the class where she can't see when he's killed me. "Um Alyssa, honey are you gonna move?" Mrs. Bale asked me. "Y-yea I'm going". I walked over and sat down avoiding eye contact with him. "Ok class these are your seats for the rest of the year, so might as well become friends with the person beside you because you'll do everything together for now on. So your first mini project is reading the rest of your book with your partner and writing an essay on your guys point of view. Get started." Mrs. Bale explained. Just great. I'm sitting next to the guy that scared the crap out of me and I'm gonna be here for the rest is the year. I felt someone tap me driving me out of my daze. "Um yea I'm Calum." " Um I-I'm Alyssa". "Yea I didn't ask". This is going to be a long year.
