Short 11: Mission: Spelunking Havoc

Description: Something mysterious, big, and lets out a mean roar. Unsure about appearance.

Info: Was digging for copper, separated from my group and was suddenly grabbed from behind. Five more disappeared suddenly as well.

Coming out of the portal are Sarge, Razor, and Millie with their weapons, rope, helmets, and they're dressed for cave exploring.

"So boss, remind me what we're doing today?" Millie asks.

"Our client told us that he was killed by a monster while he and his fellow workers were in the mine looking for copper. He claimed that he's been killed by a monster," Sarge says.

"A monster, huh?" Razor responds, "First ghosts, and now monsters."

"Well, that's what the client said. It's best that we head over there and get this job done," Sarge says and begins walking towards their destination, "And be careful, the client explains that there's been other disappearances before him."

Soon enough, everyone arrives at the mine entrance. Each of them put on their mining helmets and weapons.

"Alright, let's go," Sarge says.

With that, the group begins walking into the dark mine as they turn on the lights on their helmets. They begin walking inside the mine tunnel as they see rocks on the ceiling and on the ground. Water drips from the ceiling, and they notice some mining equipment and mining cars.

"How did the miners disappear, Sarge?" Millie asks.

"According to the client, it happened one by one. Each miner separated from the rest of the group. When they returned to the entrance, they discovered they were gone," Sarge says.

"That sounds like something out of a horror film," Razor says.

"Maybe, but something grabbed them," Sarge says.

As the group talks, some mysterious shadow appears behind the group. Sarge and the others continue walking down the mines as they search around.

"Alright guys, keep your eyes open and be extra vigilant. We don't know when the target is going to strike," Sarge says.

The three continue walking down the tunnel, but hear a strange hissing sound, placing everyone on high alert.

"What was that?" Millie asks.

Sarge brings out his sword, "Be ready for anything."

Then Millie brings out her dagger and Razor brings out his gun as they nod.

The three continue walking deep in the cave as they search around for anything out of the ordinary. Suddenly, they hear something and look to notice rocks falling down from a large hole on the wall. And suddenly, a large and grayish pincer came towards them.

"Look out!" Sarge calls out as he and the others dodge.

Millie runs over and tries to stab it with her knife, but the pincer is tough. Then Sage manages to cut it with his sword and clean off the arm. It begins bleeding something green and retracts its arm.

"What the hell was that thing?" Razor questions.

"That would be the monster the client mentioned," Sarge says.

Millie looks around, "You think there's more of them here?"

"Possible," Sarge says.

Suddenly, they hear a loud scream in fright, catching the group's attention.

"What the hell?!" Razor exclaims.

"It came from down there," Millie says.

"Let's hurry," Sarge says.

The group then runs down the cave as fast as they can until they reach a large cavern. There, they see a man that has tan skin, black hair, wears a blue jacket, light blue shirt, black jeans, and is frightened to see a swarm of giant mutated scorpion monsters. And right by the situation is a large green disgusting looking lake, and there are large metal barrels beside it.

"What the hell are those things?!" Razor exclaims.

Before the group can approach, the scorpion monster has the man surrounded and begins devouring him in every way, so they end up splattering the blood, the bones, and other guts and stuff. Sarge and the others cringe to witness it.

"Shit, those beasts are brutal!" Millie says.

The monsters stop having their meal and turn to see Sarge and the others. Soon, they begin charging towards them. Sarge brings out his sword, jumps up and cuts one of the heads off.

Millie then dodges one of their attacks and manages to stab one of them on the head, cutting it open. Razor then fires his guns, but mananges to hit it on the forehead. Millie then turns to see a large metal barrel. Millie picks it up and throws it at the monster. However, the Scorpion monster pierce it with its tail, causing green oozing waste to fall into the ground.

"Yuck!" Millie cries out, "What is that stuff?!"

Razor looks at it and says, "This looks like toxic waste."

"Eww!" Millie says.

"Sounds to me that the company the client was working for has been doing some illegal underground dumping," Sarge says.

Millie mananges to stab and kill another monster with her katana blade, "And the waste caused all these tiny scorpions to mutate into monsters and kill the miners."

Razor fires his larger firearms and kills the monsters, "And there's going to be more of them to finish us off if we don't do something."

"Our best bet is to destroy the waste and the scorpions!" Sarge says.

Millie then has an idea, "How about the barrels of waste. We can use them against them.

And Razor gets an idea, "And I know how to do it."

Razor then brings out his matches, brings out a few, and ignites them. He then throws them to the lake, where it causes a massive explosion. And the fireballs hit the scorpions destroying them. The large explosion begins to cause a cave in.

"Shit, the explosion is causing the cave to break apart," Razor says.

"I say it's time for us to get out of here," Sarge says.

He then rubs the Asmodean Crystal, allowing the three demons to jump through to make their escape. Then the cavern collapses on itself as the scorpion monsters continue exploding and the waste is being drained deeper and deeper into the mine, where hot lava is, causing more explosions into the mine is no more.
