*Elizabeth's P.O.V*

I whine softly as Mommy gently shakes me awake. I rub my face against her dress, trying to go back to my tiny little nap. She was so set on the idea of ruining my sleep that she did it again though, even lifting my head with a small coo escaping her when I gave her a dirty look.

"Sleepyhead, come on. You can't stay asleep or you won't want to sleep tonight. You've already napped today and we're nearly there anyway," Mommy says, making me huff softly as I rub my eyes. Mommy rubs my back as she helps me sit up, bouncing her leg slightly whenever I try to lay my head back down on her shoulder to go back to sleep.

"You are the worst mommy in the world and I hope that you trip and twist your ankle," I mutter, earning a sigh from Mommy.

"I hope that you end up with your grandmother cooing over you and end up stuck in her arms all night," Mommy says as she flicks the tip of my nose, making me whine as I roughly rub at my nose.

"You're evil," I tell Mommy who just shrugs her shoulders. I give her the dirtiest look I can muster, earning a soft coo from her as she tilts my chin up towards her.

"Oh I know. I'm just the most awful and mean mother ever, who just never lets you have her way," she says, making me nod in agreement. She rolls her eyes, pushing my paci back into my mouth. I take it, only because it's mine and not hers and I don't want her touching it any longer.

"You are just so adorable," Mommy cups my face, covering my face with kisses before she turns her attention to look out the window. I suck on my paci, frowning when I realize that we're about to pull up to the house already.

"Here," I say, trying to shove my paci back into Mommy's hand but she rolls her eyes, shaking her head. I give her an upset look, glaring at her until she takes it back.

"Big baby," Mommy says as I stand up, making me look at her. I couldn't believe she would do such a thing. She tucks my paci into her purse, looking to the door which opens after a moment. I take the carriage man's hand after a second, letting him help me down the steps on the carriage even though I did plan on just jumping out.

I'm grateful I didn't because I'm nearly immediately pulled into a bone crushing hug, a small squeak escaping me as the breath is squeezed from me. I whimper slightly with confusion, taking a moment to realize who is hugging me so tightly.

"Auntie! Can't breathe," I whine softly, trying to squirm out of the hug for about two seconds. Auntie raises an eyebrow, looking down at me for about two seconds before going back to crushing me.

"Beth, your mother didn't tell us that you were coming with her. What a lovely surprise," Auntie says, kissing the top of my head with a small smile on her lips.

"I wanted to surprise mother and know how you are with keeping secrets," Mommy says as the carriage man holds her hand and helps her down the steps. She smiles slightly when auntie pulls her close, hugging her.

"I suppose she might forgive you for being late then Mia," Auntie says, smiling slightly as she taps the tip of Mommy's nose, making her roll her eyes.

"Calliope, do you ever get tired of being like this?" Mommy asks as she massages her head, sounding exasperated. I can't help but giggle when she does that, finding it funny that she was acting like Auntie was being so challenging.

"No, not necessarily. I find it quite amusing to be on your last nerves baby sister," Auntie says as she pulls Mommy close, kissing the top of her head.

"Watch it Cal, you're already on thin ice," Mommy warns as best as she can. It's hard to take her seriously when Auntie is practically using her as a teddy bear.

"Mommy," I finally mumble, tugging on her sleeve slightly. Mostly in an attempt to have her attention back on me. Auntie turns her attention to me instead though, cooing at me when I stare at her with wide, surprised eyes.

"Do you want to go see your grandma? I know she misses seeing you little miss. It's practically all we hear about at these gatherings these days," Auntie says as she smiles slightly. I shake my head, clinging to Mommy in an attempt to hide when Auntie tries to pick me up.

"It's okay Darling, you can go with your auntie. I promise you'll be fine, you know that," Mommy says, trying to shoo me away from her. I whine softly, continuing to cling to her.

"Please Darling! What if I have a surprise for you?" Auntie says as she holds out her arms to me.

"Surprise?" I ask suspiciously, confused on what she could possibly have. I mean she had already won me over by offering me something but I still wanted to ask what it was first before I committed to going with her.

"Go with your auntie silly girl. You know she always has good surprises," Mommy rolls her eyes as she playfully swats at me. I squeal, moving closer to Auntie who happily picks me up in that moment of distraction.

"Oh goodness, you fit so perfectly in my arms. Still so small!" Auntie says as she covers my face in kisses which makes me squeal and squirm slightly.

"Would you like to go see nana now? I think she'd like to see you," Auntie says as she finally stops bouncing me, making me nod my head very quickly after a moment.

Auntie walks away from Mommy, keeping me held close to her as she walks quickly. She pushes open the door quickly, ignoring literally everyone else in the room to carry me straight to Nana and set me down in front of her.

"Ta da," Auntie presents me, making me do a small spin for nana before she lets me stop. I look at Nana with wide eyes, reaching for her without a single thought. All I wanted was for her to hold me, I bet she could do it better than Mommy.
