The lights in the villa are dim, and the night is quiet except for the soft hum of the ocean outside. The bed is cozy, with the crisp white sheets softly enveloping Dalihé and Isaiah. They're lying close, bodies tangled under the covers. Isaiah is holding Dalihé, his arms wrapped around her as she rests her head against his chest. They're both quiet for a moment, simply enjoying the warmth of each other's presence.
Dalihé: (softly) "I never thought I'd end up here... after everything that happened today."
Isaiah: (stroking her hair gently) "I know, babe. But I'm here now. And I'm not going anywhere."
Dalihé lifts her head to look at him, her fingers gently tracing the line of his jaw. There's a softness in her eyes, a tenderness that speaks of everything they've been through to get to this point. The chaos of the recoupling, the heartbreak, the doubts—they're all still in the air, but now there's just them.
Dalihé: "You... You hurt me, Isaiah. You know that, right?"
Isaiah: (his voice low, regretful) "I know. And I hate that I did. I made a mistake, and I won't make excuses for it. I should've been stronger."
There's a quiet pause as Dalihé considers his words. Isaiah's face is filled with sincerity, his eyes soft but filled with emotion. He gently brushes a stray lock of hair behind her ear, his touch tender, almost reverent.
Dalihé: (softly, after a beat) "It's not just about the kiss, though. It's about trust. You have to rebuild that, Isaiah. You have to prove to me that you're not going to hurt me again."
Isaiah nods, understanding the gravity of her words. He knows it's not enough just to say sorry. He has to show her, every day, that he deserves her trust.
Isaiah: (whispering) "I will. I swear to you, Dalihé. I'll do whatever it takes to make it right."
His lips are inches from hers now, their breath mingling in the quiet, intimate space between them. Dalihé gazes at him for a moment, looking for any sign of insincerity, but she finds none. He's truly sorry, and he's willing to fight for her. Slowly, her expression softens, and she reaches up, cupping his face with both hands.
Dalihé: (whispering, with a half-smile) "I believe you."
Isaiah: (grinning) "You do?"
Dalihé: "Yeah. But you have to show me, Isaiah. I need time."
Isaiah: (with a teasing smile) "Time, huh? Well, I guess I have all the time in the world to make it up to you."
