Delphine turns furious at the phone waking her up. She sits up before reaching for the phone on the nightstand beside her. Before she can Check who is calling, Cosima snatches the phone from her hand and answers it, while walking out into the hall. Delphine is baffled by the fast aggression from her fiancé. She walks out to the hall only to be dismissed by Cosima on the phone.

Cosima holds her hand over the phone to cover the speaker,
"Go back to sleep I'll be back in a bit."

"Who are you talking to? It's 2 in the morning Cosima!"

"Go please? I'll be back, get some sleep."

Delphine shakes her head in disbelief before laying back on her side of the bed not knowing what to think.

Cosima sees she is out of hearing distance before going back to her phone call. After what seems like forever she says goodnight and climbs back in bed, facing the opposite direction of Delphine. Delphine sighs and tries her best to go to sleep, she doesn't know what to say and is scared to get rejected an answer again.

5:00 a.m.
Delphine is tossing and turning still not able to get to bed. She has thoughts running through her mind about this whole secret.
Could she be cheating on me? Is that why she doesn't want me to read her messages or stops talking when I'm in the room?
Delphine holds back a tear before mentally slapping herself.
She wouldn't do that to me, I'm just over Analyzing things, but what could it be? Why doesn't she want to spend time with me for a long period of time?
As the sun rises Delphine gives up on sleep and walks in the kitchen to get something to eat.

Cosima stirs in her sleep and wakes up to an empty bed. She rubs the tiredness out of her eyes before brushing her teeth and making her way to the kitchen. As she approaches Delphine she notices the bags under her eyes and the tiredness radiating out of her eyes. She wraps her arms around her before speaking,

"Did you get any sleep last night?"

Delphine wants to pull away because she's mad, but doesn't have the strength not to lean in closer to the warm embrace.

"I couldn't. Will you tell me who you were on the phone with?"

"It was work baby."

They both eat their breakfasts in silence. After they eat Cosima decides to try to make amends.

"Baby?"

"Hm?"

"What's wrong?"

"What's going on with you first?"

"I can't tell you right now, soon okay?"

Delphine nods her head before walking to their living room. Cosima shortly follows as she places kisses all over Delphine's face making it hard for her not to smile.

Cosima sighs at the interruption then checks her phone. She then places it back down and continues with this routine for a good half an hour. Delphine pulls her away and into her as close as she can with her belly.

"Put it down."

Cosima does what she is told and kisses first Delphine's belly then her. They begin watching a new series on Netflix. As it's getting to the end, Cosima feels sick and gets up before rushing to the bathroom. Delphine looks concern and follows behind knocking on the door.

"Baby is everything alright?"

Cosima coughs before answering,
"Yeah it must be from the food last night I'll be okay. Just go back in the living room I'll be there soon."

Delphine nods knowing Cosima wouldn't let her in even if she begged, and goes back to her previous spot, worrying. Cosima wipes herself up and curses at the blood now splattered in the sink. She cleans it all up and walks in the living room holding in her coughs and sitting on a small chair next to the big sofa Delphine was currently sitting on.

"Why are you sitting over there? And are you okay?"

"I don't want to get my vomit smell on you"
She laughs,
"But I'm okay "

Delphine gives up knowing that's all she will get and goes in the kitchen where she spots a pile of mail from yesterday unopened. She browses through them before coming across a rare one. On the envelope says,
To: Cosima  Niehaus
To inform you on some concerns.

Delphine is very confused because DYAD never sends direct mail to their house. She calls Cosima inside the kitchen and asks her about it. Cosima walks inside confused at first. Delphine shows her the envelope only to get it snatched away by Cosima.

"Cosima what is that? And what concerns do they have?"

"I'm sure it's nothing."

After that short statement Cosima takes the envelope to her office and shreds it right in eye sight of Delphine. Delphine has had enough of the secrets and decides to demand what is happening.

"Cosima what aren't you telling me? I am sick and tired of all the hiding and secrets! You are constantly hiding all your things, I never know who you are talking to, and you spend hours in the bathroom daily!"

"Delphine I just can't tell you right now."

"We are getting married Cosima, we are having a baby! Does that not mean anything to you?"

"I want to tell you, but I can't Delphine."

Delphine becomes furious at that point.

"Don't you dare, you can. You just don't want to!"

Cosima opens and closes her mouth like she wants to tell Delphine what's going on, but stops herself. Delphine shakes her head.

"I can't believe this, don't bother on coming to the appointment where we find out the sex of our child tomorrow. I don't want you there."

Delphine turns and walks to her bedroom before slamming the door behind her. She slumps to the floor, her whole body shaking. She wraps her arms around her now bulging stomach before letting the tears fall down her pale face. She's broken.

Cosima closes her eyes, still frozen in the spot that Delphine has left her in. She takes deep breathes in and out and tears also start to fall from her eyes. She's lost and doesn't know what to do. She picks up her phone before texting Sarah.

I don't know how much longer I can keep this Sarah. I'm slowly dying inside and it has nothing to do with my illness.

You have to tell her Cosima. If you don't things would just start to get worst.

Cosima bites her lip, and wipes her cheeks, not really sure when all those tears came down. She grabs a blanket and pillow and lays on the couch, thinking of the possible outcomes.

As an hour passes by, Delphine finally finds the strength to stand up and make it to her bed. She covers herself with the blanket and whispers softly to her baby,
"I love you and no matter what happens, you will always be what we've always wanted."

She rubs her belly gently before drifting off to a restless long night.
