Cosima wakes up to her restless fiancé who has been tossing and turning for the past 20 minutes. Cosima turns around and wraps her arm around Delphine's belly.
"You okay? You've been tossing and turning, what's wrong?"
Delphine rests her hand on cosimas.
"Our son is wide awake and won't let me sleep."
Cosima chuckles then gets out of bed, puts on a big shirt and walks out of the room. She returns minutes later with a glass of herbal tea and a baby name book.
"Well since we are both up due to our rascal boy, I thought would be a good time to give our son a name?"
Delphine smiles softly and pulls her body up. She takes the tea offered to her.
"Thank you baby, and that sounds like a great idea."
Cosima makes her self comfortable on the bed next to Delphine and opens the book to 'boy names'.
Alex
Brandon
Brody
Calvin
John
Joseph
Etc.
"None of these names seem right, they are all too common. "
"I agree with you baby, but let's keep looking."
They come across hundred of names and finally find some they like.
Cosima looks at Delphine.
"Okay how about you say your three favorite names and I'll say mine? Then we can pick and eliminate from there."
Delphine nods.
"Okay I like the names
Brayden
Dustin and
Jayden. "
"And I like the names
Ryder
Aiden and
Noah."
They both smile and agree to eliminate one of each from each of their choices.
"Noah is too common baby, so I choose to eliminate that name."
"I agree, and so is Brayden so I choose to get rid of that."
"So we have Aiden, Ryder, Jayden, and Dustin. Should we get rid of two of each again?"
Cosima nods and thinks hard on what she wants to take away. Delphine feels her stomach and answers,
"I don't see us having a Dustin I just really like that name."
Cosima agrees and decides to eliminate the name Aiden.
Cosima then leans forward and kisses her finances belly and wraps her arm around her son still in the womb.
"Hey kiddo it's your other mom. What name do you like hm? Do you want to be Ryder?"
Delphine smiles at the sight and just watches.
"Or do you want to be Jayden?"
The baby makes a sudden movement with the mention of Ryder, confirming the name.
"Ryder it is."
