Saudi Arabia 8th March 2019
Emma practically skipped down the hall, a little giddy from her awkward run-in with Kika.
She got back to her day and then got back to her hotel.
Max had gotten a room right next to hers ofcourse. She decided to go straight to his room.
She knocked softly on Max's door.
After a second, she just let herself in, grinning when she spotted Max at the small desk in the corner, his laptop open, his glasses perched on his nose.
He looked so serious, but also, so... adorable.
"Hey, nerd," she said with a teasing grin.
Max glanced up from his laptop, a small smirk forming on his lips.
"Hey," he said, eyes briefly flicking over her before turning back to his screen.
Emma rolled her eyes dramatically, shutting the door behind her. "Oh, come on. That's all I get? Just a 'hey'? I've had the longest day, and you're sitting there like Mr. Businessman," she teased, walking closer.
He didn't look up this time, his fingers still tapping away on the keyboard.
"Some of us have work to do, you know," he said, though there was a playful undertone in his voice.
Emma pouted. "Hey thats my line. Well, I'm here now, so clearly work time is over."
When Max didn't immediately close the laptop, she huffed, stepping closer until she was standing right next to him.
He barely glanced up, "Just give me two minutes."
Two minutes? No way.
Emma grinned mischievously, then with absolutely no hesitation, she shoved his laptop aside-gently but firmly-before climbing into his lap.
She settled herself right on top of him, legs draped over his thighs, her face inches from his.
"Well, look at that," she said sweetly. "Your laptop's gone. Guess I've got your attention now, huh?"
Max blinked, his hands instinctively going to her hips. "I was in the middle of an email."
"I think I'm a little more fun than emails, don't you?"
His hands tightened around her waist. "You've got a point."
He tilted his head, "I don't think I could work even if I tried now"
Emma smiled in victory, leaning in to kiss him softly at first, testing the waters.
"That's more like it," she murmured between kisses, her fingers tangling in his hair.
Max's response was instant. He deepened the kiss, his hands moving from her waist to the small of her back, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them.
His glasses slid down the bridge of his nose, and Emma giggled against his lips.
"You look like Clark Kent," she teased, pulling back just enough to adjust his glasses.
Max laughed, his lips brushing her jawline. "Do I?"
"Yeah," she said, kissing him again. "But, like, way hotter."
Max grinned, one of his hands slipping under her shirt. "Good to know."
The heat between them grew quickly, their kisses becoming more desperate, more intense.
He reached for the hem of her shirt and tugged it over her head, tossing it to the floor.
Emma shivered as his hands traced over her bare skin, and any thoughts of teasing him further evaporated.
