It was Anya's first day at Ryder Industries, and she was determined to make a great impression. She had spent hours preparing her outfit, rehearsing her introduction, and reviewing the company's mission statement.

As she drove to the office, her excitement grew. This was her dream job, and she was ready to prove herself.

Just as she was approaching the company's building, a sleek black sports car slammed into her from behind. The impact made her heart skip a beat.

Anya's anger flared as she pulled over and stepped out of the car. The other driver had already exited his vehicle, his tall frame towering over her.

"Watch where you're going!" Anya snapped, her voice shaking.

The driver raised an eyebrow, his piercing blue eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're the one who braked suddenly."

Anya's eyes widened. "You hit me from behind!"

The driver smirked. "Technicalities."

Their heated exchange was interrupted by a passing employee, who glanced at the sports car's logo and whispered, "Uh-oh, you're in trouble."

Anya followed his gaze and her eyes widened - " Ryder Industries."

"Are you.....?" She began.

"Ryder," he confirmed, his smile now disarming.

Anya's fury turned to embarrassment. This was her first day, and she'd already clashed with the CEO.

Anya's outstretched hand hovered in mid-air, expecting a firm handshake to seal her introduction. Instead, Ryder's gaze pierced through her, his expression unyielding.

"No one speaks to me like that," Ryder's deep voice commanded attention. " And you, of all people, have the audacity to yell at me on your first day?"

Anya's face burned with embarrassment as she slowly lowered her hand. The passing employee's whispered warning now made sense - Ryder's reputation preceded him.

"I... I apologise, sir," Anya stuttered, attempting to compose herself.

Ryder's eyes narrowed. "Apology accepted, but let this be a lesson. In this company, respect is earned, not given. You're one of the five new recruits, I presume?"

Anya nodded, still reeling from the encounter.

"Good. You'll learn quickly that I don't tolerate disrespect or sloppiness. You're on thin ice, Anya. Don't make it thicker."

With that, Ryder turned and strode toward the building, leaving Anya feeling shaken and intimidated.

As she followed him, she noticed the other new recruits watching from a distance, their faces reflecting a mix of curiosity and concern.

Once inside, Ryder disappeared into his office, leaving the newcomers to exchange uneasy glances.
