Anya entered Ryder's office, her confidence bolstered by Emily's encouragement. Ryder, seated behind his massive desk, looked up from the papers he was reviewing.

"So, Anya Sharma," he began, his tone dripping with scepticism. " I must say, your... audacious introduction earlier was quite impressive."

Anya stood tall, her eyes meeting Ryder's. "I apologise for that, sir. But I won't apologise for standing up for myself."

Ryder raised an eyebrow. " Feisty, aren't you? We'll, let's see how you handle the real world. This isn't some academic playground."

Anya smiled inwardly, knowing she had experience under her belt.

"Actually, sir, I've worked part-time at a small marketing firm while completing my studies. I'm familiar with the industry."

Ryder's expression changed from amusement to curiosity.

"Go on."

"I handled social media campaigns, created content, and collaborated with the design team. My experience may not be extensive, but it's hands-on."

Ryder leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers.

" I see. Well, Miss Sharma, it seems you're not as green as I thought. But don't think this means special treatment. You'll still have to prove yourself."

Anya nodded. " I wouldn't expect anything less, sir."

Ryder's gaze lingered in her, then shifted to the papers on his desk.

" Your first task: develop a social media strategy for our new product launch. I want innovative ideas, not cookie- cutter solutions."

Anya's mind began racing with ideas.

"I'm on it, sir."

Ryder's eyes narrowed.

"Oh, and Anya?"

"Yes, Sir?"

"Don't disappoint me."

Anya left Ryder's office. She settled back into her workstation, her mind buzzing with ideas for the social media strategy. She quickly updated her supervisor, Rachel, on her meeting with Ryder.

"Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you," Rachel said with a smile. "But I have faith in you, Anya. You're going to crush it."

Anya nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude for Rachel's support.

"Dive right in," Rachel encouraged. I'll handle any questions or concerns that come up while you focus on your project."

With Rachel's blessing, Anya immersed herself in research, brainstorming, and outlining her strategy. Hours flew by as she worked tirelessly, fueled by determination and coffee.

As the day drew to a close, Anya saved her progress and organised her notes. She felt accomplished, having made significant headway.

Just as she was packing up, Emily stopped by her workstation.

"Hey, how's the project going?" Emily asked.

"Good!" Anya replied. "I've got a solid foundation. Just need to refine it tomorrow."

Emily nodded. "Want to grab dinner and discuss our projects ? I've got some ideas to share."

Anya smiled. "Sound perfect. Let's celebrate our first day survival."

As they walked out of the office, Anya felt a sense of belonging, thanks to Emily's friendship and Rachel's guidance.

The next morning. Anya arrived at her workstation, ready to tackle the project's final stages.

However, her inbox contained an unexpected email from Ryder:

"Subject: Revision to project scope
Anya,
After reviewing your initial outline, I've decided to add a new dimension to the project. Incorporate influencer marketing into your strategy.
Deadline remains unchanged.
Ryder."
