I won't say anything why I was inactive for more than 2 months and all.

Life is not easy as it seems. And I am finally getting it.

You know to write a chapter I had to read all chapters so that I could know where I left.

Author's POV

After that day something seems off to Diya . She was always thinking or always zoned out. Even her family and friends noticed that and tried to ask her whether she was fine or not but she never said anything.

In her mind, she was planning something that would bring a big change, a reckoning for those who had wronged her . She knew that each step had to be carefully calculated, every detail examined , for there would be no room for error.

She didn't want to do this but the day he betrayed her and
Revenge wasn't an option—it was a necessity. Every detail of her plan was etched into her mind, carefully crafted to strike where it would hurt the most. She knew exactly what they valued, where their weaknesses lay, and how to make them feel the pain they’d caused her.

As she mapped it out, a flicker of satisfaction warmed her chest.  Soon, they would see what it meant to cross her. But she couldn’t afford any mistakes.

She was so engrossed that she didn't even know when Aarav sat beside her in the bed. She was sometimes smiling, sometimes her expression became so tense that he couldn't figure out what she was thinking.

Even Aarav had sensed that something wasn’t right. He noticed the distant look in her eyes, the way she seemed preoccupied, as if she was lost in a world of her own. He tried to ask her, tried to get her to open up, but every time he brought it up, she just brushed him off with a tight smile and a dismissive, 'I’m fine.'

But Aarav knew her too well. He could see the storm brewing behind her calm exterior, and it worried him.  He wasn’t sure what she was thinking, but one thing was certain—she wasn’t telling him everything.

---------------

As the days passed, a palpable change embraced her. Once open and chatty, she now kept her thoughts locked away, shrouded in a veil of secrecy.

She had been spending late nights at work, but those hours were a cover . With each passing day, her resolve grew stronger, fueled by the betrayal that had once cut her deep. The memory of Arjun’s treachery and Akriti’s manipulation haunted her, pushing her toward a singular focus: revenge for what they did to her.

Even Nidhi began to notice the subtle shifts in her demeanor. The light in her eyes was often replaced with a determined glint, and her laughter was less frequent. Concerned, Nidhi tried to draw her out, initiating conversations and inviting her to share what was on her mind. But each time, she skillfully deflected, offering vague reassurances.

“I’m just busy with work,” she would say, a hint of a smile on her lips. “You know how it is.”

Nidhi knew about her past with Arjun and how he treated her. But she was worried for Diya. Knowing that she was planning something against him , nidhi was just hoping that Diya wouldn't get into any trouble.

Meanwhile, every late-night endeavor brought her closer to the result of her plans. She gathered information, carefully  crafting a strategy to expose Akriti's for the fraud she was and to confront Arjun with the truth of his betrayal.
