I left the room

But it doesn't mean I don't want to stay there but it's because I won't be able to handle the nervousness and this uh.uh.uhh

Yes thank u ( eye rolled)

And I went to the kitchen to help mummy ji and Chachi , it's not like we don't have servants to cook but it's like tradition might be,  to cook dinner by ourselves. No matter what we can't miss dinner with our family. 

And in case we miss it then be ready dath khane ke lia .

And I donno why I love it , it's like having a reunion after a long day.

We aka  mummy ji , Chachi ji were making dishes and i was cutting veggies [bcoz i love veggies] and Ira were siting on the kitchen counter munching on her snacks ( this girl 🤦🏻‍♀️, kabhi Bina khaye nahi reh sakti) .

We were chatting and gossiping while doing our work when chottu , a boy who works here enter into the kitchen with a cup and asked to make a new one as it became cold.

As both mother's were already occupied with their work , I prepare a cup and gave it to him. And again start doing my own work but it's not even been 5 minutes, chottu came back for a new cup.

Kya hua , i asked in a irritated tone.
(What's wrong)

Baiya ne kaha chini nahi he isme , he said but I remember adding sugar in it .
( He said to add some sugar in it)
( I might had added less)

Instead of making a new one I added powder sugar in it , stir it and gave it back to him . He went back . ( See , I am smart n)

But not less than 2 minutes he can back again i sigh.

Aab kya hua , it's getting in my nerves now
( What happened now)

Chini jyada hogayi , he replied and i could sense something.
( Too much sweet now)

Hmmm, i made a new cup and add a perfect ammount of sugar and gave it to chottu .

Isbar shayad kaam banjaye .
( This time should work)

But again I saw him at the door and said something which increases my confusion even more .
Bhaiya ne kaha Thora flavour add karne ko
( Big brother<bhaiya> asked to add some flavour in it)

' flavour ' i heard three different voice .
(🤦🏻‍♀️ How could I forget they are here too)

Turning to them i shrugged.
Bhabhi ilaichi dal do , Ira suggest me and I nod and crushed few pieces and add in the cup and send him back.
( Sis-in-law add some cardamom in it)

Kya hua isse , bar bar kyu wapas bhej Raha he , mummy said with confusion clear in her face.
( What's wrong with him , why is her sending it back again and again)

Dekhna mummy , chachi wapas kardenge Bhai isse bhi , Ira said munching her chips.
( Look out, mother and aunt , he will send it back again)

Pata nahi kya ho gaya , i muttered
( I don't know what's wrong with him)

So her assumption were correct , again chottu came with confused expression.

Aab kya kami batai , this time mummy ji asked .
( Now , what is not enough)

Pata nahi badi maa, bhaiya ne toh chakha hi nahi , he replied
( I don't know, he didn't even taste it)

( What is he even trying to do )

Chakha bhi nahi ka matlab, chachi asked
( What does this mean now)

Bhaiya ne darwaja se hi wapas bhej dia aur dusra lane ko boldia , he said
( Brother send me back from door and asked for a new one )

What...
He was not even tasting it and he was acting like there is something missing it it.

Lagta he aaj Bhai ne apna sar kahi par thok dia hoga , Ira said
( Looks like my brother had hurt  his head somewhere)

Mummy ji slightly smacked her head apne bhai ke bare me esa bolti he ,
( Don't talk about your brother like this)

Toh kya kahu maa, apne dekha nahi itni baar chai mang chuke he jese barso se pi na ho , what she says was true .
( Then what should I say mom, didn't you saw he has been asking for the cup of tea when he himself is not tasting a bit )

Same thing repeat twice more and now it seems everyone get frustrated with it.

(Aur ho bhi kyu nahi )
(And why shouldn't also)

Ruk me dekhti hu isse , mummy said and turn to leave but Ira told her to leave it and let me get it for him.
( Wait let me see him)

Thinking of something, i agreed and make a new cup of tea, added ilachi and few other things ( when no one was looking)

( Aab kuch toh karna tha na) 🤷🏻‍♀️

I climb the stairs and peeked through the door to see my husband were working on his laptop .

(Dekho toh kitne Shanti se bethe hai ham sab ko pareshan kar ke, i thought)
( See how peacefully he is sitting there after troubling us)
