The lunch

Harry looked at his parents and they both had the same look 'it's up to you'. Harry looked back at Alex and gave him a nod.

"We can have lunch, if that's okay with you?" asked Alex with a hopeful look.

"Yeah, that's okay" said Harry.

"Your parents, and sister can come, if you want" said Alex quickly, he really wanted to reconnect with his brother; and he thought the first step is accept they weren't family anymore, and maybe knowing his brother's new family would give him points to be close.

Harry looked at his parents "you want us there, Bambi?" asked Tony.

"No..." said Harry "I think I can do this alone; I tell you everything when I come back"

Pepper gave him a hug "I love you, baby"

Tony gave him a hug too "love you, Bambi"

And his little sister too "love you, Harry"

Harry hugged the three of them "love you guys, see you soon"

Professor McGonagall arrived to show the Starks where they could sleep while they would be staying at Hogwarts. Harry followed Alex and they arrived at a little restaurant outside the school in a little village called 'The three broomsticks'. They asked for a private room, so the seven of them could talk; James and Sirius wardered it so no one could hear them.

"Well..." started Harry "I suppose you don't know me, and neither do I" he said looking at the little girl "I'm Harrison Anthony Stark, nice to meet you"

"I'm Jasmine Lily Potter" they both shaked hands.

"So you had another one?" asked Harry "even after everything"

"I didn't know I was pregnant..." said Lily quietly "...please Harry, we know you must hate us..." she started to cry.

After some seconds Harry felt pretty overwhelmed, this is what he wanted all those years back at Potter Manor, attention from the grownups, but not like this "I don't hate you" he whispered.

The four adults looked at him with hope.

"I never did" none of them said anything, they wanted to let Harry take out everything he felt about them "perhaps I resented you for some time. I was jealous of Alex, he had all the love, all the attention. You never read me a bedtime story or took me in your broom to fly or on your bike. I suppose I wasn't meant to be close with Mr. Lupin because he wasn't my godfather, but Mr. Black was never close to me either. So I thought, perhaps I'm the problem?"

"You were never the problem!" exclaimed James

Harry smile genuinely at him "I know that now, it took me time, I'm not going to lie"

"Can I ask you, how you met your family?" asked Remus.

Harry looked at him, he knew he thought of Dumbledore almost as a god "if I tell you, would you tell Dumbledore?" asked Harry.

"No!" exclaimed Alex and Jas.

Harry raised an eyebrow at them "and the rest of you?"

"We are not telling him, Harry" Sirius assured him.

Harry studied his godfather, he saw a lot of pain in his face, perhaps they really regret ignore him, but it was too little, too late "I saved my dad's life"

"How?" asked Jas.

"It was actually the day I ran away" said Harry "he was in a car crash and I called for help, I was injured in the process"

"You were injured?" asked Lily.

"Yeah" said Harry "I was in coma for like a month, or something like that" all of them looked afraid "I told him about my homelife" now they looked like they regretted everything "and he offered me a family"

"Harry..." started Sirius "are they... good to you?

"The best" affirmed Harry with a smile, all of them nodded.

"And is he... is he by any chance related to Howard Stark?" asked Lily.

"Yeah!" exclaimed Harry "Howard was my grandfather"

"How do you know them?" asked Jas.

"Dad is the owner of the best tech company in the world" said Harry "and mom is the CEO. Dad has been the richest man alive for the last 20 years or something"

"More than the Blacks?" asked Alex in wonder.

"Yeah, for sure" said Harry, like it was nothing.

They continued having a friendly meal.

"Listen, I know that you want to be part of my life again" said Harry "but you need to understand I have a family now. If you are okay with that, I may can have you back in my life, not as family, but as acquaintances, and perhaps someday as friends"

"I want that" said Alex in an instant.

"Me too" said Jas and James.

"Thank you, Harry" said Sirius with a smile and tears in his eyes.

Lily started to cry again and Remus just smiled at him.

Lily wanted to give him a hug, but Harry didn't let her "Baby steps, yeah?" said Harry, and with that, he left the room.

Harry returned to the school, he was told by McGonagall where his family was and after meeting with them, he told them everything.

"So you want to reconnect with them?" asked Maria.

"I told them I was willing to give them an opportunity, not as family; and not as friends, at least not now" said Harry.

Tony stood up and gave him a hug "I'm so proud of you"

"Really?" asked Harry "I told them you are my family" he said quietly.

Pepper gave him a hug too "and you are our son, and they could never change that"

The Potter, Sirius and Remus returned to Potter Manor; James asked McGonagall to take Alex with them just for the night.

"I really thought he would hate us" whispered Sirius.

"His new family seems nice" said Alex, none of them like the fact they would never be a family again "I'm glad he find them, and they show them love and not hate"

"It is them we have to thank" said James "they looked after him, gave him a family, and they taught him not to resent us or hate us"

"We need to try to not overwhelm him" said Sirius.

"Yeah, it is a big step he let us be in his life" said Remus.

"Baby steps" whispered Lily, remembering what Harry told her.
