Aadrika was about to move toward the couch while Kabir was already settled on his side of the bed, using his phone. Suddenly, a cold and commanding voice interrupted her.

"Stop right there."

Startled, Aadrika halted and turned back, annoyance etched on her face as she almost shouted, "What the fuck?"

For a moment, Kabir was taken aback by her choice of words but chose to ignore it for now.

"Where are you going?" he asked nonchalantly, disregarding her piercing gaze.

"Do you have eyes?" she replied with a tight-lipped smile.

"Yes, but they're busy boring into yours," Kabir flirted, which only added to her irritation.

Trying to avoid his flirtatious remarks, Aadrika answered directly, "To the couch."

"For what?" Kabir countered in the same teasing tone.

"For bathing. Is there a problem?" Aadrika responded, her tone growing more irritated.

"You prefer the couch for bathing? Interesting," Kabir said, feigning innocence.

"Cut the crap. What do you want?" Aadrika asked urgently.

"Sleep on the bed," Kabir asserted.

"Okay, acting like a gentleman, but by the way, how will you fit on that couch?" Aadrika asked, showing slight concern but shrugging it off quickly.

"Who said I would use the couch?" Kabir said, moving towards the bed.

"I'm not going to share the bed with you, just so you know," Aadrika stated firmly.

"Then where will you sleep?" Kabir asked, already sensing what her response would be.

"The couch—that's better than sharing a bed with you," Aadrika replied with a smirk.

Kabir smirked back and pointed at the couch. "This one?"

Aadrika nodded in response to his silly question, but her expression changed to shock when she saw the couch broken in two.

"Oh God, now where will I sleep?" she cried in a distressed tone.

Kabir smirked, held out his hand, and said, "Settle down; we don't have the whole night."

"But—" Aadrika started to counter, but she was cut off.

"Should I pick you up in my arms and take you to the bed?" Kabir asked, moving forward with a triumphant smirk.
