Caden slept soundly that night. He had quite a bizarre dream. He and Oliver were at the beach, alone. It was a lovely golden hour, with a faint rainbow in the corner of his field of vision. In that dream, Oliver splashed a little of the sea in his face, with Caden splashing him back.

Quickly, the tide rose. It was so quick that Oliver barely managed to lift his feet off the shore. Caden, however, couldn't fight off the pull of the ocean. His feet were held down by the pressure under the water. He kept fighting but couldn't manage to take a step.

The water soon reached his chest, constricting his breathing. He was going to drown. The sunset turned into night, and the sky was replaced by a blanket of stars. The water level rose, and the last thing he remembered was a drop of water getting into his nose.

Caden's eyes quickly opened. His eyes took time adjusting to the light. He rubbed the crust off his eyes and saw a figure on all-fours standing on his chest. It was wet. When he finally got to his senses, he was met by a freshly bathed Millie, with Louise looking at the half-open door.

"Good morning! Someone came to wake you up." Louise greeted.

The boy held the puppy in his hands, not wanting to get his blanket wet. "Mom, it's 4am. Millie might catch a cold." said Caden.

"Millie, huh. So that's what you named her?" Louise asked.

The puppy wouldn't stay still. It kept trying to lick Caden's face like a lollipop. He stood up and turned off the airconditioning, not wanting the dog to catch a cold. He then walked with his mom down the flight of stairs.

At breakfast, Caden sat Millie down beside him. The puppy just stared at him, her eyes steady at the little boy's face as he ate breakfast. He would pet her from time to time and give her some of his food.

"Mom, you missed a spot." said Caden, pointing to a dark circle on the side of the puppy's snout.

"Silly. That's a mole! It's really cute, don't you think?" Louise replied.

Caden looked at the puppy's face and indeed it was a mole. A large mole that was almost the size of the puppy's nose. "That's so cute." said Caden. He just loved the dog even more after seeing the distinct mark on its face.

That morning, Caden brought a huge paper bag to class. Everyone was wondering what the contents would look like. They knew the sketch was beautiful, but would the final product be accurate to the source material?

He took out the costume and held it in front of everyone. Cheers filled the classroom. Everyone marveled at the sight. Caden was a man of his word. He paid great respect to the sketch, making sure everything was exactly as he wanted.

Oliver looked at the costume with full-on glee. His eyes sparkled at the costume Caden made for him. He wanted to wear it then and there. He had never felt so proud of his best friend.

The king's crown has also been constructed by Caden's committee. It was beautiful, with the silver and fur embellishments jingling with every step. The costume is complete, it was only up to the models to wear them confidently in 2 weeks.

The class wanted to see the costumes in action. Caden obliged. The female members of the committee helped Mary put her dress on. Oliver, on the other hand, was assisted by Caden himself. They went inside the classroom's storage room, where the brooms and other cleaning materials were kept.

Oliver took off his uniform and wore the different layers of the costume. The room was hot, so they didn't want to stay there for too long. Caden's forehead had a layer of sweat forming on it.
