Several days passed in a steady, repetitive rhythm. Aki attended countless doctor appointments and therapy sessions, but each time felt frustratingly empty.

Sitting alone in the sterile, bright room, she found herself retreating further inside her own mind.

The therapists' questions washed over her, barely touching the surface. Without anyone she trusted there, she couldn't bring herself to speak, not about her past, not about the strange voices that still haunted her mind, and certainly not about the horrors she'd been through. Each session left her feeling more drained than the last.

Her meals were another challenge. No matter how many times she was presented with food, her appetite never seemed to return.

She'd pick at her meals, pushing the food around but rarely taking more than a few bites. Eri tried her best to help, sitting with her, encouraging her with her own innocent smile and little nudges - Aizawa probably told her to - but the voices in Aki's head continued to echo, warning her not to trust, not to take anything from anyone.

Eri's presence helped a little, but it wasn't enough to silence the doubt that clawed at her mind.

Then, one morning, the day she'd been dreading finally arrived. Aizawa knocked on her door and entered with a set of clothes folded neatly in his arms. "It's time to get you ready for U.A.," he said, his voice calm but with a note of warmth.

Aki looked up from where she sat on the bed, surprised to see something other than her hospital gown waiting for her. Her hand reached out hesitantly, fingers brushing over the soft fabric. It was just a simple set of leggings, a shirt, and a light jacket, but something about it felt like... freedom.

After she changed, Aizawa returned and gestured for her to follow him. They walked through the hallways, where Eri soon joined them, clutching Aki's hand with a bubbling excitement that was almost contagious.

They start moving toward the exit. Aki expected they'd be taken through the main doors, but instead, Aizawa guides them down a quieter hallway.

"We'll be using a different entrance," he explains calmly, reading her puzzled expression. "It's better to keep things low-key right now—fewer people and less noise." He looks back over his shoulder at her. "Let's make this as easy as possible."

They follow him to an unmarked door leading outside, where a discreet vehicle waits. The ride is quiet, Eri's excitement barely contained as she fidgets in her seat. Aki's feelings are more complicated, a mix of dread and uncertainty.

As the car approached the entrance, Aki felt her chest tighten. This was the place they'd been talking about, where she'd learn to "control her quirk" and perhaps... one day, even be a hero. The idea still sat strangely within her, filling her with a mixture of hope and deep-rooted fear. She glanced over at Eri, who was positively bouncing in her seat.

When they finally arrive at U.A. High, they're taken in through another private entrance, avoiding the attention of students and any reporters who might have lingered near the main gates.

Aki can feel her stomach tighten as they approach the inner halls of the school. The idea of entering a place known for training heroes unnerves her deeply. Everything she was taught... everything she's believed... tells her heroes are dangerous. She's not even sure she wants to be here, especially with her mind whispering doubts about every person who calls themselves a hero.

U.A. High School was larger and more impressive than she'd imagined, and it seemed to radiate a sense of importance and strength that made her feel like she was an intruder, a small shadow in a world she didn't truly belong in.
