(a/n: this is the last one, guyssss😞😞)
The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm golden light over the sprawling garden that had been transformed for the day. Soft music played in the background, the sweet sounds of a string quartet filling the air. The large white tent was decorated with elegant flowers, cascading vines, and fairy lights twinkling softly in the fading daylight. There was a hushed anticipation in the air, and guests exchanged excited whispers as they took their seats.
Today was Yunjin and Kazuha's day—the day they would finally say "I do."
Yunjin stood at the altar, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never felt so ready for anything in her life. Her thoughts were a whirlwind, but one thing stood out above all—the love she felt for the woman who would soon walk down the aisle. She took a deep breath, adjusting the crisp lines of her tailored black suit. It was unconventional, but it felt so perfectly her. A black suit with a subtle sheen, a deep purple boutonnière tucked into her chest, and her blonde hair styled neatly. The soft, understated elegance of it was a perfect reflection of who she was—strong, confident, but still tender and vulnerable when it came to the one she loved most.
The moment had come.
Yunjin's heart skipped a beat when she heard the soft patter of tiny feet on the stone path. She looked up, her breath catching in her throat as she saw the procession.
First came their children—Matthew and Eunchae—holding hands, walking slowly as they threw white rose petals down the aisle. Their little faces were lit up with excitement, giggles escaping their lips as they showered the ground in soft bursts of white. The innocence in their actions made Yunjin smile, her chest swelling with pride. Her son and daughter were a testament to the love she and Kazuha had built together, a love that had only grown stronger over the years.
Behind them came the rest of the bridal party. Hanni and Minji, Yunjin's maid of honor, walked hand in hand, their smiles beaming. Hanni wore a deep green dress, Minji in a rich gold one. Both women were as radiant as ever, and Yunjin couldn't help but feel grateful for their support throughout her entire journey.
On the other side, Chaewon, Minju, and Sakura followed, each dressed in elegant gowns that matched the soft hues of the wedding theme. Kazuha had chosen them because they had been by her side since the beginning, and Yunjin could see the love and happiness in their eyes as they made their way down the aisle.
But nothing compared to the sight of Kazuha herself, walking toward her with the same radiant smile that had first captured Yunjin's heart. Kazuha's gown was a soft blush pink, delicate lace covering the top and cascading down in layers of silk. The way it flowed behind her, like a cloud of elegance and grace, was enough to take Yunjin's breath away. Her hair, styled in soft waves, glowed in the sunlight, and Yunjin's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met.
For a moment, everything else faded away. It was just the two of them, standing in front of each other, ready to commit to forever.
As Kazuha made her way to the altar, she paused for just a second, taking in the sight of Yunjin in her suit, standing there waiting for her. There was a flicker of surprise in her eyes, followed by a soft smile.
"You look absolutely breathtaking," Kazuha whispered, her voice shaky with emotion.
Yunjin smiled softly, taking Kazuha's hands in hers. "And you, my love, are more beautiful than I could ever have dreamed of."
Kazuha squeezed her hands, her eyes glistening. "This is it, Yunjin. This is the moment we've been waiting for."
Yunjin nodded, her heart swelling in her chest. She looked out at their children, their friends, their families, all gathered together in support of the love they had shared for so long. She had never been more certain of anything in her life.
The officiant, standing between them, smiled warmly. "We are gathered here today to witness the union of two souls who have found in each other not just love, but a lifetime of partnership, friendship, and understanding."
As the ceremony began, Yunjin and Kazuha exchanged vows. Their words were heartfelt, filled with the love they had cultivated over the years. Every promise they made was a promise for the future, for the family they had built and would continue to build together.
"I promise to always stand by your side," Kazuha said, her voice soft but strong. "To love you in every way, even when the world around us changes."
Yunjin's eyes shimmered as she spoke. "I promise to support you in everything you do, to cherish and honor you, and to always make you feel loved—no matter what life throws at us."
And with those words, the officiant smiled. "Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss your bride."
Yunjin, her heart soaring, leaned forward and kissed Kazuha gently, her hands cupping her face, pulling her closer. The crowd erupted into cheers, their family and friends surrounding them, sharing in the joyous moment.
As they pulled apart, Yunjin couldn't help but smile—this was it. They had made it. Together, they had navigated every high and low, and now, standing here as wives, they were ready to take on the world.
The reception that followed was a blur of happiness and love. Their children ran and played with their friends, laughing and enjoying the day. Yunjin and Kazuha danced, their hearts light and free, holding each other close as the music played.
It was the beginning of the rest of their lives.
