Jessamine mumbled in her sleep as they rested in Mari's bed, they did not have any clothing on, not bothering to put them back after the night they just spent. There was a slight smile on her face as she dozed off, snoring lightly as Mari listened to her heartbeat.

"That was indeed something." Mari murmured to herself, as she sat on the edge of the bed. Her hair covered most of her face as she pondered the feelings that she was having. It was a good feeling, her predatory instincts trigger when they made love and she felt great about it.

"I love you, Mari..." Jessamine mumbled in her dreams, and Mari stared at her sleeping figure.

"I think I love you too.." Mari answered, but the sleeping woman did not hear her.

A shadow of a thought crossed her mind, the deaths of Nick and his mother will surely not go unnoticed, and its brutality will now put their area in the crosshairs, should a competent investigation happen.

Two muggers were slaughtered, nearly the same way Nick and his mother were. The two muggers fell to Mari's hunger while Nick was thrust upon her wrath, in her damned quest for justice, Nick's mother was caught in the midst of it, having been complicit in her son's growth of privilege and other foolish things that turned him into whatever he was.

"The maid will not be an issue." Mari muttered, vaguely remembering using her charms to lull the innocent maid into running away, yet her face was still seen.

We can find her and silence her eternally, a voice spoke out in her head and Mari shook it off.

No loose ends, more flesh for the feast, the voice continued and Mari stared at Jessamine. Slowly the voice was zoned out, reduced to nothing but a humming voice in the background.

She grabbed her phone and stared at it, it was a Motorola RAZR or whatever it was Jessamine said, a flip phone of sorts that had a lot of features but Jessamine would only use it for communication purposes.

"Technology." Mari muttered, impressed, and stroked Jessamine's cheek who shuddered but did not recoil away from her touch.

"Now then, it's time for some human breakfast." Mari said to herself, getting up, still not bothering to get dressed. She wandered over to the kitchen area of her studio apartment and opened the fridge.

She had human food of course, canned food, meat, vegetables, eggs and anything that does not involve garlic.

"Wonder what the little lady likes..." Mari thought, as she scanned the fridge, the shelves for anything that she could prepare.

She decided that maybe bacon and eggs would be fitting, and rice of course, for what is a Filipino breakfast, without rice?

"Should have made rice last night, then she could have enjoyed it fried." Mari said blankly, then remembered that people like having garlic in their fried rice.

"Hmm, or maybe not." Mari finished as she turned on the rice cooker.

Jessamine woke up to the scent of bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee and tapa? It was a familiar scent, and she was certain it was.

Her stomach growled as she sat up in bed, the blanket falling down exposing her naked bodice. She immediately covered up, embarrassed as she looked around, Mari was standing by the divider of the kitchen, also and still naked, grinning at her.

"Embarrassed now, are we?" she mocked.

Jessamine blushed furiously.

"Relax dear one, there isn't anything that I haven't seen." Mari flirted with a smirk, "I liked every part of it too."
