With Jessamine on her way home, Mari walked towards the parking area of the university, Ricardo was there, approaching his vehicle. She tried her best to keep her strides at a human pace, unable to do so, she was shaking with anger, while the monster inside of her growled and sought release, she decided to do this while she had control over it.

"Hey, dickhead." she called out loudly, her voice easily cutting through the empty parking area, as Ricardo craned his head to look, she was right behind him and slammed him into his car lightly.

Ricardo chuckled nervously, obviously caught off-guard by Mari, a beautiful woman suddenly this close to him.

"What's the matter, Mari?" he asked, nervously, looking around and finding no one else with them.

"What did you say to Jessamine earlier?" Mari asked him venomously, pinning him against the door of his car.

"I didn't say shit." Ricardo stammered, Mari pulled him towards her and then smashed him into his car again.

"Wrong answer." Mari murmured, "Must I really coax it out of you with even more brutal force?"

"It was a joke." Ricardo said now, and Mari shook her head, this time she grabbed a handful of his hair and slammed him into his car window, breaking it.

"No, you see, this..." Mari motioned to what was happening to them, "This is the joke."

She lifted him up, dazed and bleeding.

"I don't like dealing with your types, you're wretched, horrid, rancid and every fucking thing I hate about life." Mari told him in a cold voice, "You do not bring anything to the table, yet you fester there rotting away and trying to take others with you."

With one flick of her wrist, Ricardo was slammed into the car again.

"You think you are above everyone else, with your parents, your wealth, and whatever it is you think you are." Ricardo flinched as Mari picked him up again.

"Yet in the grand scheme of things, you are nothing. You are but a billowing candle fighting against the undeterrable winds of fate."

"It was a joke!" Ricardo repeatedly, and Mari plunged her fist into his gut, holding back most of her strength, he let out a gasp of air as he fell to the floor, wheezing.

"Get up. You threatened to rape her?" Mari growled, but Ricardo stayed down, to her annoyance.

She landed a kick to his ribs, which shattered some of them, slightly losing control of the strength she was consciously holding back.

"Please, no more." Ricardo begged, trying to shield himself with his arms.

"No, no, you will have some more and more until I deem you worthy of repose." Mari muttered, stepping on his hands and twisting them with her heel.

"I didn't mean what I said to her, I was angry, okay? I lost a friend!" Ricardo begged once more, and Mari stomped even harder, the sound of what seemed like breadsticks being snapped apart echoed.

Ricardo yelled in pain as Mari continued to twist her heel beneath it.

"You will apologize to her." Mari told him now, "You will take back everything you've said to her. You will leave her alone."

Ricardo, even in his broken state where he could smell his blood, was suddenly assailed by the scent of something floral to him, tinged with the smell of ash as if something was burning.

"Do you understand?" Mari asked, emphasizing each syllable with a twist of her heel.

"YES!" Ricardo gasped, "Please, I'll leave you guys alone."

"What will you say when people ask about what happened to you?" Mari asked calmly, Ricardo did not answer and so she lifted her boot up and stomped down again, the sound of more things breaking and cracking echoed, she shattered his palm this time.

"I got into a fight with gangs, that's the best that I can say, please" Ricardo pleaded pathetically now, and Mari chuckled.

Her thoughts were filled with a primal fury, the voice in her head nearly managed to break out of its cage yet she managed to keep it contained.

"Good. If I see you close to her again, everything that happened here will seem like child's play." Mari threatened, as she left him broken and crying on the ground.

"Remember, I am right here." Mari's voice called out from the darkest shadows of the parking area, her voice deadly and venomous, yet beautiful and elegant at the same time, as Ricardo trembled in fear, nearly soiling himself.
