I locked my gaze on Aleena, my heart pounding, but my eyes unwavering. I could see it in her expression-the shift. The walls she had so carefully built around herself, the facade of confidence, were starting to crack. For the first time in years, she wasn't the one in control.

Her eyes flickered, just for a moment, betraying something-fear, or maybe realization. The power she once held over me, over everyone, was slipping away. I could see it in the way she clenched her jaw, the way her hands tensed in her lap.

"I'm done being afraid of you,"

I said, my voice barely above a whisper, but in the quiet of the courtroom, it felt like a declaration.

"And I'm done being your pawn."

I could see her lips twitch, as if she wanted to speak, to defend herself, to twist the narrative like she always did. But for the first time, she didn't have the words. The room was no longer her stage. It was mine.

"And now, Aleena,"

I said, my voice louder, more certain,

"it's time for you to answer for everything you've done. You don't get to play the victim anymore. You don't get to hide behind your lies. Not anymore."

I felt a surge of strength, a sense of finality. The game was over. There was no escaping it now.

I turned slowly, giving one last look around the courtroom before I made my way back to my seat. The weight of everything I had just said seemed to linger in the air, hanging heavy with anticipation. I walked with purpose, each step deliberate, as if I were shedding the last bit of fear that had once held me back.

When I reached my seat beside Sarah, I sat down, my body finally releasing some of the tension I'd been carrying for so long. I didn't look at Aleena again. There was nothing left to say to her.

The silence in the courtroom stretched on, as everyone digested what had just transpired. I could feel the eyes on me-the judge, the prosecutor, the jury-all waiting for the next move. But I had said everything I needed to say. There was no turning back now. The truth was out, and there was nothing more to hide.

I let out a small breath, trying to steady myself. My heart was still racing, but I knew I had done what I had to. I wasn't running anymore. I wasn't hiding. The truth had been spoken, and now it was up to them to see it for what it was.

The courtroom was still, the air thick with anticipation as everyone waited for the judge to deliver his verdict. The weight of the testimony, the revelations, and the tension in the room all led to this moment.

The judge, an older man with a sharp gaze and years of experience, looked down at the papers in front of him. He adjusted his glasses, his face serious, as he glanced at both Aleena and Anethia. He knew the gravity of the case before him-the lives at stake, the truth that had been unearthed, and the fight for justice.

He cleared his throat, and the sound echoed through the room, breaking the silence. His voice rang out, authoritative and unwavering.

"After hearing the testimony of Miss Anethia Lee, as well as the statements presented by both the prosecution and defense, I have taken time to consider the facts, the evidence, and the weight of this case."

The judge paused, allowing the words to settle before he continued.

"The defendant, Miss Aleena Lee, has been accused of numerous crimes-most notably, the brutal murders linked to the so-called 'Belladonna.' Despite her attempts to manipulate and deceive, the evidence presented today, along with the courage of her own sister, Miss Anethia Lee, has painted a clear and irrefutable picture of the defendant's actions. The truth, once buried beneath lies and threats, has come to light, and it is not a story of self-defense or survival-it is a story of cold, calculated murder."
