"These cannot be modern," I told Dante, glaring slightly when he picked out a large frilly shirt with a vest.

"Oh, come now," he said, smiling over at me, "you'll look amazing in these."

I just rolled my eyes. "What about the modern things like... T-shirts and shorts? Why do you have to pick out vests, frilly shirts, and half-skirts, and shorts?"

"T-shirts and shorts are not very fulfilling for a prince," Dante told me with a smile. "I think you'll look like royalty in these."

I just grumbled. "They're going to be a pain in the arse to put on."

"Ah, but it's not you putting them on, is it?" Dante retorted.

I gazed up at him. "I'm going to get weird looks. Everyone's going to think I'm cosplaying all the time."

Dante just smiled. "You're the Prince of Hell, master. You need to dress accordingly."

"Femininely?" I questioned.

He tipped his head to the side. "You look very young still. You're short. These outfits will suit your height and looks."

"Are you calling me a little girl?" I growled.

"No," he stated, smirking as he picked out a feather-like hairclip, "I'm calling you a little boy."

I just glared. "I am thirty-two."

"Yes, but you look nineteen."

"You call being nineteen a child?"

"Yes," Dante said then, gazing down, "compared to my age, yes."

"You're the same age as me!"

"You're also very short and cute," he said then, gazing down at me when he pinched my cheek, "and gullible."

I slapped his hand away. "I will hit you."

He went back to what he was doing. "You'll miss."

"Wanna bet?"

"A million dollars."

"You don't even have a million dollars, you dimwit."

He gazed down. "Because I know I'll win."

I went for it anyway, shooting my hand forward to hit his face.

He just hopped backward, making me stumble when he sprung off the ground, did some sort of backflip, and landed on top of one of the shelves.

I glared up at him. "That was excessive."

"I'm a demon," he told me, smirking, "what do you expect?"

I just made an impatient sound, looking around the shop angrily.

"Ooh," he said, picking up another hairclip, "this one's cute, too."

He just hopped off and landed on the ground, making me spare him an annoyed look.

"A cookie hairpiece?" I said, annoyed. "Seriously?"

"Yes, it has that brown, waffle-cone themed cookies. I think it would go well with a brown jacket and some shorts as well."

"I think I wanna hit you again."

He just winked at me. "You'll grow used to it. This is prince-attire, master."

"I think you're full of shit," I snapped back. "You just want to dress me up like a Barbie doll."

He just set his hand against his chest, brows drawing together as he gasped. "Master, how could you?"

I gave him a bored look.

"Barbie doll?" he echoed dramatically, shaking his head. "No!"

I just watched him in annoyance.

He dropped his hand, the smirk crossing his face again. "Porcelain doll is more like it. Widen your vocabulary." He then walked off, and I followed him.

"Vile demon," I muttered.

"Come now, Prince. We're far from done."
