It was never about skinny
It was never about control
I just didn't deserve my tummy to be full.
Monday was breakfast
Friday was dinner
I starved all week so I could be thinner
But it was never about skinny
It was never about control
I just didn't deserve to be full.
When the scales were low
It gave me a high
Admiring the new gap
In between my thighs
But it was never about skinny
It was never about control
I just hated myself, that's all
My happiest day
Was the day that I died
When I turned to ashes
And reached my dream BMI.
It was always about skinny
It was always about control
I just wish someone had noticed that's all.
