Author's POV

First thing Freen did as soon as she woke up is running towards the bathroom, throwing up inside the bowl

She feels like a shit right now

"Agh.."Freen groaned, the headache plus the nauseous feeling are hitting her inside right now

Washing her face and rinse her mouth, Freen look at the mirror. Looking at the messy hair and obviously fucked face

Sighing, she suddenly realise something. What happened last night? Freen can smell something from the kitchen as she rushed out

Looking at her own kitchen, she can see a figure preparing a soup on the table. Freen was speechless, her eyes met the person

"Have some juice"

Freen watched as Becky handed the juice towards her. The manager blinked her eyes, frozen on her place. She couldn't move at all, trying to process how Becky got here

Becky sighed, taking Freen's hand as she pass the glass to her. Freen looked at the orange juice on her hand while Becky went back to the dining table

"I cooked soup for your hangover, I already cooked rice too if you want"Becky explained

The woman finally get into her sense, gulping down the juice as she put down the glass on the table. Freen didn't know how to start or what to ask to her ex lover

"Why are you here?"Freen asked

"Thats the first thing you said? Not even a 'thank you for the breakfast and juice' huh?"

Becky chuckled

"I...I don't remember anything"

"I know you dont, its alright. You dont need to remember anything, just be glad you didn't ended up in middle of the street or something"

Biting her lower lips, Freen sat down on the chair. She wanted to say something but it feels like the words currently stuck inside her throat

"Uh..thank you for the soup"Freen thanked, not looking at Becky

"Your welcome Sarocha"

Becky let out a small smiled, pouring the juice inside Freen's empty glass. The manager watch every moves Becky did

"Did something happen last night?"Freen asked, curiosity took over her

"Nothing happened, I helped getting you home safely. Thats all.."Becky spoke, letting out a small smile as she untied the apron around her waist placing it at the original place

"I will get going first, remember we have an event tonight. See you Freen"

Becky said, she wanted to get out of her as soon as she can knowing she wont be able to lie infront of Freen again. Not a drunk Freen this time

Before she could, Becky can feel a hand wrapped around her wrist. Turning around, Freen looking up to her

"I said something last night...didn't I?"Freen asked

Becky swallowing hard, guilt written all over her face as she looked away from a pair of the brown eyes. Shaking her head, Becky pulled her hand away from Freen's grasp

"Nothing, you fell asleep as soon as you get home.."Becky lied again

"I didn't know you yesterday Rebecca, I know when you are telling the truth and when you lie. Look, if I said something stupid last night, please forget about it...I'm not sober enough"Freen explained, sighing

"Don't worry, don't think about it"

She took another step foward, her heart started aching so bad. Becky in the verge of breaking down when she started remembering everything Freen said last night
