Author's POV
Becky couldn't hide her smile anymore, looking down to their hands together. Freen didn't seems to have any plan of letting it go since earlier
Now they are on their way to Freen's place after the concert ended. The time already hit midnight and Becky agree to stay for a night because she didn't want to burden Freen
Or maybe she just doesn't want to be away from her
"Welcome, make yourself at home even though technically it's still your house "Freen smiled, opening the door like a gentleman and welcoming Becky
"Right, thank you"
The other woman chuckle, stepping her feet inside the apartment they once shared together. It's probably the second time (?) Becky went here after their break up
"I will get you some clothes, sit down first"
Freen excitedly gets inside her room while Becky watch until the sight of Freen disappears. Letting out a small smile, Becky take a walk around the house instead
Her eyes went towards the newly painted wall. The colour is darker than how she remembered. Nothing really change besides the furniture and walls
Other than that, it still feels like home
Their home
Opening the drawer, her eyes flicker seeing the familiar wooden box inside it. Her heart started thumping faster
It's not what she thoughts right?
Becky is wrong, it's still there. Her lips curve into a small smile, taking the silver bracelet and running her fingers through the familiar material
"You still keep it..."Becky mumbled
The memories started rewinding inside her head, biting her lower lips as she remembered the first gift she gave to Freen
On their first anniversary
Her heart slightly aching, letting out a small sigh as her eyes never left the bracelet. Suddenly, a pair or arms wrapped around her waist. Becky close her eyes, leaning against the familiar warmth
"I still keep it because I don't have the courage to throw the first gift you gave me''Freen whispered softly, putting her chin on Becky's right shoulder
Becky still quiet, overwhelming with emotions
"I'm sorry that I lied, I still love you so much. My feelings never change a bit Rebecca.."
"Funny, why are you sorry? I should be the one saying that''
"You are here, it doesn't matter. I got you in my arms again now"
Freen tightened the hug, raining a soft kisses on Becky's shoulder. Closing her eyes and smile feeling the slender fingers on her hands
"Get change and let's sleep''Freen spoke, slowly pulling away as Becky turned to look at her with a teary eyes that make Freen laugh
"Why are you crying? Such a crybaby..''Freen shook her head while wiping the tears away
"I love you"
Becky blurted out while looking at Freen with her innocent and teary eyes
"Adorable...I love you more"
After a while, they are now lying on the bed, arms wrapped around each other while their eyes fixed on the movie they choose together
The Notebook
Freen's favourite
Becky leaned her head against Freen, playing with the hands wrapping around her waist as she slightly look over her shoulder, couldn't held her smile anymore
