I didn't look them in the eyes. That was the reason I hated holidays. Having to pretend like I wasn't abandoned.
Aunt Edith tried to spice the Mood up. Making it less awkward. I didn't budge.

Aunt Edith: „Aurora on which Adventure where you this time?"

Aurora:„ We stayed in the country, just a small town here in Pennsylvania. Bellefonte. Ever heard of it? Just getting away from all the responsibilities and stuff you know"

Agatha:„ Yeah, we know"

It got quiet. Usually I wasn't the kind to speak up. I had emotionally separated myself from them. But this year it was something different. I felt the negative energy as soon as they walked in. Hitting me with emotions I usually didn't feel.

I lifted my head and looked at Aurora.
She was different.
I didn't know what it was.
She looked so young and full of energy. The energy was a bright red color. Surrounding the whole house. It was overwhelming for me. But no one seem to see what I saw.

Agatha:„ Aurora, did you get anything done? You look so........youthful"

She didn't respond, but stared at me for the rest of the night.
