Alistair Diaz
11:00 PM

Nicole:
Hate that you're home tapos
ako yung stuck sa hospital.

Under obsevation pa ako!

Alistair:
I'm not home.

Nicole:
Diba out mo na

Alistair:
Nasa unit ako ng friend ko

Nicole:
Wow sleepover

Alistair:
Lol no

Just meal prepping

Nicole:
For him?

Alistair:
Yes

Nicole:
Nice friend ka pala, Doc.

Love interest mo ba sya

Alistair:
No. Love interest niya nasa ibang bansa.

Nicole:
So love triangle kayo?

Alistair:
?? what kind of brain do you have

Nicole:
Kakabasa ko lang ng BL :)

Alistair:
May sakit lang yung tao kaya inaalalayan

Nicole:
Hindi marunong mag-alaga sa sarili?

Alistair:
Kailangan ng alalay

Masyado lang masakit sa ulo pabayaan mag-isa. Baka biglang isugod sa ER dahil sa self-inflicted wound.

Nicole:
Isn't that concerning

Alistair:
He's sane, don't worry.

Nicole:
Totoo?

Alistair:
Hmm.

How's the hospital?

Nicole:
Ang sungit ng doctor ko

Pinagalitan ako kanina

Alistair:
Who's your doctor? At bakit ka pinagalitan?

Nicole:
Mrs. Ruiz

Alistair:
Clyde's wife

Nicole:
REALLY?

Alam mo ba sabi sakin?

Alistair:
Tell me

Nicole:
I'm one of those people who waste a hospital bed. That I'm just being "pabaya" of myself and it's my fault why I'm here. Kesyo there are a lot of people fighting for their lives tapos I'm just wasting mine.

Does she believe in mental health? Parang no. So ironic. I just don't get it. It's like we don't deserve to be in the hospital just because my case isn't "life and death" yet.

Alistair:
I've seen her say the same lecture she told you to a different patient. Your point is valid. I understand that all patients deserve to be treated fairly.

I'm not siding with anyone but I just wanna share her point. She's been to a public hospital. She had her internship there and worked there for a year. She had an encounter with a drunk patient who occupied a hospital bed instead of letting a 74-year-old patient be rested and settled.

Parang nagkagulo pa daw ata before that drunk left the hospital after he was treated for his wound.

I don't ever think this validates her to give a lecture to a patient that makes them feel not deserving of care but some patients are just inconsiderate also. To add, madalas sa public hospitals kulang sa facilities. HCW are underpaid.

Usually, I just tell the patient na pag pasensyahan siya. She's not like that sa ibang pasyente. Sa mga reckless case lang or those teens to vicenarians.

Nicole:
Fine. I agree na hindi siya justifiable kasi may mga naiinvalidate talaga na pasyente but I understand her point.

Nagulat nga ako kasi she seems nice nung umpisa until she started lecturing me.

Alistair:
Kapag magaling ka na, she'll be nicer to you.

Nicole:
Can't wait. I'm tired of seeing the smirking of your friends kapag naglalakad ako sa labas.

Alistair:
Understandable.

Nicole:
It makes me think you told
them about me.

Alistair:
Really?

Nicole:
Yes

Alistair:
Wala naman

Nicole:
"That person cries at 4 am"

Not like that?

Alistair:
No, not quite

Nicole:
What way are you telling them about me?

Alistair:
I never did

Nicole:
Sure, Doc

Alistair:
Did they tell you something?

Nicole:
Wala naman

Alistair:
Nicole?

Nicole:
Wala nga

Alistair:
Okay. I'm gonna trust your word.

Nicole:
:)
