Carly’s POV
3 weeks.
It had been three weeks since Rosemary started working us like mules. Don’t get me wrong, she’s an amazing dancer and she’s helping us grow, but I still hate her.
“Quiet down, quiet down!” She shouted over the noise of the dancers chatting away happily. Once she got everyone’s attention, she smiled. “This is it. Tomorrow is the beginning of the 2 weeks Jessie will be spending in our area, and the 2 weeks we shall bring our mad talent to her stage. And I’m proud to say that we are ready.” We all clapped, because this meant we could go home early and get some sleep. “So as you can all assume, you are all dismissed. Except Carly.” Everyone booked it out of the studio and Rosemary walked over to me.
“Um yes?” I asked, slightly confused.
“I feel like we started off on the wrong foot. I mean, I know I was Niall’s girlfriend and we didn’t work out, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends! I mean, you’re so pretty, and nice, and so talented. I would love to start over.” She smiled, and stuck out her hand. “Hi. I’m Rosemary Flint.”
I chuckled to myself. I mean, does she really think she’s fooling me? I knew she was up to something, but maybe if I play along, I can figure it out and stop it from happening. I inwardly congratulated myself for being brilliant and grabbed her hand. “Carly Parker. Nice to meet you.” I smirked, and let go.
“Eeeep! Yeah! You don’t know how happy I am! Well, I have to go because I have dinner plans, but I’ll see you tomorrow friend!” She grabbed her bag and skipped out. I mean, she seriously skipped. Man, she’s playing this really well… What a weirdo.
“Oh boy.” I mumbled to myself.
“What?” I heard a voice ask, and I jumped?
“Oh gosh… it’s just you.” I tried to calm myself down once I realized Ayver was still here. He didn’t work on Thursdays, and hadn’t found himself a flat to live in yet, so I still drug him to work because he could be pretty reckless and still had no trust my flat wouldn’t burn down while he was left alone.
“So are you ready to head out?” He asked, swinging my car keys around.
“Yeah, sure. Let’s go. We’re going out tonight, is that ok?” I asked.
“Sounds good to me. Is Raye coming?” He asked, and I caught a glimpse of hope in his tone.
“Yes, seeing that it’s at her house! Now stop daydreaming and move your butt.” He started shaking his butt, doing what my statement said.
“Just my butt? Why not all of me? I mean, ill shake my butt if you want but it’s kinda weird for you to ask.” His response was laced with sarcasm, and I rolled my eyes and grabbed my keys from him.
“Just come on you fat oaf.”
~2 hours later~
“MARIE! WHATS TAKING SO LONG?” I screamed across the flat, tapping my foot as I waiting at the door.
“IM COMING IM COMING!” She yelled back. I looked at my watch and realized we should have left 10 minutes ago.
“I’M LEAVING!” I screamed and opened the door, to make her believe I was really leaving her behind. Ayver snickered beside me, and I slapped his arm so he would shut up.
“NO NO NO NO IM COMING THIS SECOND!” And within seconds, she came bounding for the door. “Ok, I’m ready.”
“It’s about time. Oh, and I knitted you a sweater while I was waiting. I hope you like it.” I joked with her.
