Forsaken

The grey clouds in the sky was agreeing with her sadness, even the rain was crying along with her that day sharing her sadness along as well. Losing her last chance of hope she slept under the tree for shelter. She hated the way how her life turned out to be. During that night she cried out all of her happiness and bitterness and the bruises on her skin said much more. The following day she woke up in a pile of mud and her bruises were no longer red on her skin, it was now purple. Her step mother called her inside to clean the floors once more and then sent her to buy her some clothing for her father just as how they left her yesterday. She was only packed with mud and dirtiness on her clothes.

While shopping for her step father, people who were passing around scorning and laughing at her. No one knew what she was going through, not one bit. While taking a shortcut to her home on the hillside where she spent most of her time with her sister, she fell to her knees and cried. "I haven't done anything to deserve this life" she shouted then returned backed to her home with the clothes. Every day was the same where she'll get beaten and get nothing to eat until one day she fainted on the hillside and no one bothered to look for her.

When she finally got back her consciousness she found herself in a cozy little hut where five faces looked at her with relieve and one seemed to look quite familiar to her. She heard one whispering "I told you that's the girl I met at the market. Isn't she beautiful?" Then she blanked out for the rest of the day. The guys who were keeping care of her were no other than One Direction themselves in hideout. They left Liam to take care of her since he had already met her. But the gang themselves knew something was wrong because she woke up crying that same day in her sleep. They left Liam to keep her company for the time being.

When she awoke her eyes she saw the handsome stranger she had met that day at the market and whispered to him "where am I?" He replied "You're in a hut at the moment." She then asked "what happened all I remember was not feeling too well and then fell to the ground." He then said "we found you on the ground unconscious and brought you to this place hoping you'll recover two days ago." She then said "you mean they never bothered to look for me after I've been missing nearly three days." Liam then said " huh."

"Um nothing" she replied quickly and continued to talk "have there been any missing reports lately in the area?" He then replied "No. Why do you ask?" "No reasons" she replied. Liam even asked her about the bruises on her skin but she wouldn't reply. All she said in tears "I have to get out of here as quick as possible before they come looking for me. I'll be in some serious trouble." As she attempted to come off the bed she stumbled and fell. Liam said "Hold it there missy. Where do you think you are going?" "Somewhere far from here" she said. "You are too weak. You cannot just leave and go." Due to his talking she believed him and stayed back. When his friends came back they saw Liam by her bedside and noticed she was awake.

"Look whose finally awake guys Louis pointed." Everyone were shocked and surrounded her and Harry said sarcastically "has he been taking good care of you?" "In the matter of fact he is" she said. Liam said "she's still too weak guys, she literally fell out the bed when she tried to get out" in the next room. "Was our guess right about the state we got her in" Zayn said. Liam said "I haven't found that out but I'm working on it." The guys teased him for a moment and he got serious. "I think something's really wrong with her because she's frightened about someone." Zayn then says "what makes you so sure of it." "Well for beginners she was talking about going somewhere far away from here. Also that she'll be in a lot of trouble "Liam said. " Well Liam did it ever occur to you that she was talking about her parents" Harry said. Liam said "I'm pretty sure I'll know if it was that she was talking about."

After a long talk the guys finally decided that they would let the girl go when she's recovered completely and follow her to see where she was going to determine what was wrong with her. As for the time they introduced themselves to her. "Hi the name's Zayn." "Nice to meet you" she said. "I'm Harry, this is Loius, Niall and as you know Liam." She greeted all of them nicely until the following day it started to rain. She got up and shouted "I haven't done anything wrong to deserve this punishment. Please just bring them all back please." She continued to sob on the bed while the other guys paid attention and from that night they knew that something was wrong and it was somehow connected to the way they found her that day. She then began to sleepwalk the following night crying and screaming as if someone was trying to beat her more. Finally the guys came to terms with that she was being mistreated by someone she knew or some stranger they never knew.

When she finally recovered one month later the guys told her it was time for her to go if she wanted to. She said her goodbyes and they did as well. Unaware they were following her home she finally reached her location and stopped and turned around to make sure no one was behind her to beat her. At this moment the guys hid behind a huge tree. When she peeped through the window she noticed her step parents inside and knocked on the door hoping they would forgive her for missing so long. As the mother opened the door, Evangeline got the hardest pull on her hair and she dragged her inside the house and began to beat her some more as well as the father. The guys watched every moment of her beating in sorrow as to why someone would treat someone as nice as her so mean.

Believe me Evangeline gave up that day of hope of living because they left her no other than death with their words and terrible beatings. The guys were hiding behind the tree still and saw her coming in tears after they kicked her out on the streets. She ran and began looking for something and headed for her secret hill. She climbed up her favourite tree where she spent times swinging with her sister with the rope. She began to talk to her perish sister and said "I'm sorry Evelyn that I did not keep my promise. They hate me even more since you left and I deserve no happiness or anyone's happiness. I'm bad luck remember so I'm doing this so that I can come and meet you where you are as well."
