Evangeline soon woke up and it was time for her to go home. Her parents were informed about the little mishap she had in school. She knew due to this she was inviting trouble into her home once more than she'd expected. She decided this time she'll face them bravely without a doubt. As she entered the house, without warning came a piece of metal slamming her in the back. She fell to the floor crying.

Evangeline: I just wanted to say sorry for all the trouble I caused

Step mother: I don't care you almost sold us out today. Go back in your room this instance. You will not eat again today.

Evangeline ran to her room in tears once more and without anything to eat. Her friend Emma called on her secret phone and she answered it.

Emma: What happened today?

Evangeline: I rather not talk about it

Emma: I'm your friend and I deserve to know about it.

Evangeline: I can't tell you. They are close by

At that moment she took off her phone and received unexpected company from her brutal step mother. She pulled the phone away and in her hand she held a whip. It just kept whipping her over and over without stopping. She stayed strong throughout all she was going through. When her step mother was done, she left her there on the ground crying.

The following day as Evangeline looked at herself in the mirror she only saw bruises all over her skin. She wore only long clothes for that warm day and for her face she just used a hat to hide the extra bruises away. As she entered the school she was warmly greeted with hatred by the other classmates. Her friend Emma was absent that day and she bore every minute of insults strongly like a true hero until it was the last period of her class. She had music and she was unable to sing so she hid behind her class hoping no one would notice her. Louis was the teacher for her class that day and he noticed her in the back. He wanted to know why she wore those long clothes and hat on such a warm day. When he asked she never responded. He called her up in front of the class.

Louis: What is your name?

Students: She's nobody. Leave her alone.

Louis: I'll leave her alone when she answers me. What is your name?

She did not respond to any of his requests. Only when he held her hand, he noticed there were some bruises on her hand. When she noticed he saw all those bruises, she made a run for it. It was the first time she ran out of class. The other students insisted that he left her alone but he left them with homework as soon as the bell rang. Exiting the school he noticed her in the crowd and ran after her. She was already gone by the time he reached his destination. He thought to himself who this strange girl could be but came out empty handed.

The following day she wore a long sleeve dress and glasses hiding her eyes and makeup covering her bruises that was not noticeable through the makeup. Unluckily once more she had music that same morning because Louis had insisted to the other teachers to let him teach that same class. All the other students were just starring at his face at how amazing he looked. All except one. At once her knew it was the girl he was searching for and secondly he called her outside while the others were doing their work.

Louis: What is your name?

Evangeline: (Looks down)

Louis: Why aren't you answering me?

He looked up at her face and noticed her face was bleeding a little. He then took out his tissue to wipe her face but pushed him away and shouted "Don't touch me." To his surprise he heard her speak for the first time. He insisted that he should help her and so he did. He gently wiped off the blood from her face along with the rest of her makeup so it won't look weird. What he saw was unpleasant to the eyes and when he removed her glasses, he saw something he never wanted to see happen to a girl. Scrapes all over her face along with deep cuts.
